- One of the most common scams at the moment of purchase is that Viva Wyndham Maya´s sales person will make you any verbal promise to get you to sign their contract
- Most of their sales are done under high pressure sales tactics, a high number of members at Viva Wyndham feel like they have being lied and scam and most timeshare contracts are being misrepresented.
- Salespeople claim that the points have more value than they actually do for exchange purposes.This is very untrue, it all depend what points you buy and unfortunate they will always sell you the small point package so at the time you realize you need more points.
- Many clients have complained that when they go to cancel within the 5 day period, they tell them that their deposit is non-refundable.

Con Viva Wyndham tuve una experiencia donde los pequeños problemas terminaron acumulándose. Al principio pensé que todo sería sencillo, pero cuando surgieron dudas sobre reservas y servicios incluidos, fue difícil conseguir una respuesta concreta.
Lo que más me molestó fue que cada empleado parecía manejar información diferente. Eso genera mucha inseguridad porque uno espera que las condiciones sean claras, especialmente después de haber pagado por una experiencia vacacional.
I went in expecting a relaxing vacation, but the amount of effort required for simple things became frustrating. I had questions about my reservation and tried several times to get a clear explanation, but every person I spoke with gave me a slightly different answer. Nobody was openly unhelpful, but the lack of consistency made everything harder than it needed to be.
What bothered me most was feeling like I had to manage everything myself. Instead of enjoying the trip, I was checking details, confirming information, and making sure nothing was missed. A vacation shouldn’t require that much follow-up.
The stay itself wasn’t terrible, but trying to resolve even small issues became exhausting surprisingly fast. I needed help correcting part of my reservation after arrival, and what should’ve taken ten minutes somehow turned into multiple conversations over two days. Every employee seemed to have a slightly different explanation, which made the whole process feel disorganized.

En mi caso, pregunté varias veces sobre ciertos beneficios incluidos y nunca recibí la misma respuesta dos veces. Cada empleado explicaba algo distinto y eso terminó generando muchísima desconfianza.
The frustrating part about my stay wasn’t one giant problem — it was the constant feeling that nothing was ever fully resolved. I asked about correcting a reservation issue after arrival and somehow spent the next two days repeating the same explanation to different employees. Everyone sounded helpful at first, but the information kept changing depending on who I spoke with.
After a while, it became exhausting having to double-check everything myself. Even simple questions somehow turned into long conversations that drifted toward upgrades or future travel offers instead of actually fixing the issue I asked about in the first place.

I had a simple issue with my reservation after my flight was delayed and ended up speaking to four different employees over the course of a day. Every person seemed confident, but every answer was different.

Cada empleado daba información distinta y siempre aparecía un nuevo detalle que no se había mencionado antes. No fue un problema enorme en específico, sino una acumulación de situaciones pequeñas que terminaron agotando la paciencia.
