I booked this trip thinking it would be uncomplicated, but the moment I needed help with anything outside the basics, it became frustrating. I asked about changing part of my reservation after a flight delay and spent almost an entire afternoon getting bounced between staff members who all seemed to have different information. Nobody was rude, but nobody could give a clear answer either.
The strangest part was how often unrelated offers got mixed into normal conversations. I’d ask something simple about transportation or timing and suddenly we’d be talking about future travel packages. After a few days, I stopped asking questions unless absolutely necessary because everything felt like it was leading somewhere else.
I expected a fairly easy trip, but anything outside the basics became a hassle. I tried to make a small change to my reservation and somehow got sent between multiple people who each gave me a different process. Nobody seemed fully sure what could actually be done.
By the second day, I noticed how often simple questions turned into conversations about future stays or extra packages. I wasn’t looking for offers, I just wanted help. That disconnect became more frustrating than the original issue.
I thought this would be a simple getaway, but dealing with anything beyond basic check-in became surprisingly frustrating. I asked about changing one reservation detail and got sent from one desk to another, each person giving me a different answer. Nobody seemed certain who was responsible, so the issue just dragged on.
The other thing that stood out was how often normal conversations turned into offers. I’d ask about activities or transportation and somehow end up hearing about future packages. After a couple of days, I stopped asking questions unless absolutely necessary.
I didn’t realize how much time I’d spend just trying to get clear answers. It started small — asking about extending my stay — but the responses kept changing depending on who I spoke with. One person told me to handle it at the desk, another said it had to be done online, and the third acted like it wasn’t possible at all. By the end of it, I just gave up.
