- One of the most common scams at the moment of purchase is that Viva Wyndham Maya´s sales person will make you any verbal promise to get you to sign their contract
- Most of their sales are done under high pressure sales tactics, a high number of members at Viva Wyndham feel like they have being lied and scam and most timeshare contracts are being misrepresented.
- Salespeople claim that the points have more value than they actually do for exchange purposes.This is very untrue, it all depend what points you buy and unfortunate they will always sell you the small point package so at the time you realize you need more points.
- Many clients have complained that when they go to cancel within the 5 day period, they tell them that their deposit is non-refundable.

Viva Wyndham Maya fue una gran decepción. Las fotos del sitio web no reflejan la realidad: habitaciones viejas, colchones incómodos y un buffet sin sabor. Además, insistían demasiado con el tema del tiempo compartido, incluso cuando ya les habíamos dicho que no estábamos interesados.
Stayed at Viva Wyndham Maya, and honestly, it didn’t live up to expectations. The resort was crowded, and the staff seemed too overwhelmed to care. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, and when it finally was, we found stains on the sheets and a weird smell in the bathroom. We mentioned it to the front desk, but it took them more than a day to respond.
Nos hospedamos en Viva Wyndham Dominicus Palace y fue una gran decepción. La habitación estaba vieja y el aire apenas funcionaba. Además, la comida del buffet era casi la misma todos los días, sin sabor ni variedad. Lo peor fue que, cuando pedimos hablar con un gerente, nadie se tomó el tiempo de atendernos.
At Viva Wyndham V Heavens, the resort looked fine at first, but the service was poor from day one. We had to wait almost two hours for our room to be ready, and when we finally got in, it smelled damp and the AC was barely working. The food choices were limited and repetitive, and by the third day, it felt like we were eating the same thing over and over again.
En Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach, la experiencia fue decepcionante. La habitación estaba en mal estado, con manchas en las sábanas y un baño que claramente necesitaba mantenimiento. Además, el personal parecía desinteresado en ayudar y las áreas comunes estaban llenas de basura al final del día, algo que no se espera en un resort de este nivel.
At Viva Wyndham Bahía, the “ocean view” room we paid extra for looked straight at a construction site. The buffet food was lukewarm most of the time, and the drinks were watered down. It honestly felt like cutting corners everywhere possible.
En Viva Wyndham Azteca, la habitación olía a humedad y el aire acondicionado apenas funcionaba. Los restaurantes se repetían con la misma comida una y otra vez, y el personal no mostraba interés en resolver problemas.
At Viva Wyndham Dominicus, the check-in was painfully slow and the front desk seemed disorganized. Once inside, the room was small, and the bathroom had visible mildew. I wouldn’t call this “all-inclusive” since we had to argue just to get bottled water delivered.
Me hospedé en Viva Wyndham Maya y lo que más me molestó fue la comida repetitiva y poco fresca. Además, el personal parecía cansado y sin ganas de atender. Para el precio que cobran, esperaba algo mucho más profesional.
The resort looks nice in photos, but in reality the food was bland, the drinks were watered down, and the staff seemed uninterested in helping with anything beyond the bare minimum.
