Common Complaints:

Vidanta Timeshare for sale:The salesperson will claim that they can resell the client's previously owned timeshare for a large sum of money and the purchase of the Vidanta timeshare will be covered by this resale.
Salesperson offers an equity exchange or trade-in program.

Vidanta Timeshare Rentals: The salesperson says that they will rent out their Vidanta weeks for a large profit and issue a check to the client within a few months so that they can pay off the timeshare with the rental income.
Many clients have complained that when they go to cancel within the 5 day period, they tell them that their deposit is non-refundable, and they are then persuaded into a downgraded membership.

El tamaño del complejo hace todo más lento. Resolver algo sencillo toma demasiado tiempo.
La presión por membresías es constante.

  • Thomas BeckerJanuary 27, 2026, 11:57 am

Vidanta’s scale creates distance. Requests pass through multiple steps, slowing everything down. The focus on memberships is ever-present and hard to ignore. It feels more like navigating a system than enjoying a resort stay.

  • Sofía MarínJanuary 22, 2026, 2:07 pm

El complejo es enorme y poco práctico. Las presentaciones son constantes y el trato se siente más comercial que hospitalario.

  • Robert KleinJanuary 19, 2026, 1:32 pm

Vidanta’s size makes everything feel slower. Simple requests go through layers of process, and the constant membership focus overshadows the guest experience. It feels more transactional than welcoming.

  • Scott FriedmanJanuary 14, 2026, 3:15 pm

Vidanta is massive, and that size works against it. Simple requests take time, and everything feels routed through layers of process. Membership presentations were frequent and hard to avoid, making the stay feel more sales-driven than guest-focused.

  • Natalia PeraltaJanuary 10, 2026, 1:02 pm

El tamaño del complejo hace todo más lento. Las solicitudes requieren seguimiento constante. Las presentaciones de membresía fueron frecuentes y terminaron afectando la experiencia.

  • Michael DonovanJanuary 8, 2026, 4:01 pm

Vidanta is massive, which sounds great until you’re trying to get something resolved. Requests took time and often needed reminders. Membership presentations were hard to dodge and felt repetitive, making the stay feel structured more around sales than guest comfort.

  • Kevin O’DonnellJanuary 6, 2026, 2:44 pm

Vidanta is massive, and while that looks impressive, it also makes everything feel impersonal. Requests took a long time to resolve and often required multiple follow-ups. Membership presentations were hard to avoid and became repetitive, making the stay feel more structured around sales than guest comfort.

Vidanta looks spectacular, but behind the aesthetics is a heavy sales culture that overshadows the guest experience. What was sold as a short orientation turned into hours of pressure, fine print, and uncomfortable negotiation tactics. And once you say no, perks and access evaporate. Not worth the stress for a “luxury” visit.

  • Arturo SalasDecember 20, 2025, 11:05 pm
