Unlimited Vacation Club (UVC) is a vacation membership program that operates similarly to a traditional timeshare, though it does not involve actual real estate ownership. Instead, members make a down payment and monthly payments to receive discounted rates at a portfolio of luxury resorts. The club is marketed as offering free or deeply discounted weeklong stays at high-end properties with opulent suites, pristine beaches, swim-up bars, and private concierges.

Important: UVC is not affiliated with the Unlimited Vacation Club brand operated by GBS International, Inc. in the United States. The Mexico-based club discussed here is operated by AMResorts® and is closely tied to Hyatt's Inclusive Collection.

Unlimited Vacation Club is anything but unlimited. We were stuck with blackout dates and “preferred” resorts that were never available. The so-called discounts didn’t save us any money compared to booking online.

  • Marcela RivasSeptember 30, 2025, 1:44 pm

Unlimited Vacation Club is full of broken promises — booking was always “unavailable,” yet they kept charging fees and offering poor alternatives.

  • Anthony RussellSeptember 9, 2025, 12:20 pm

Unlimited Vacation Club is basically a trap. They lure you in with promises of great discounts and luxury perks, but once you sign, you realize how restrictive it actually is. Trying to book a vacation through them felt like pulling teeth. There was never availability at the resorts we wanted, and they constantly tried to push us into less desirable properties.

I regret signing up because now it feels impossible to get out of the contract. Their customer service is unhelpful, and they stop being friendly once you start asking about cancellations. Avoid this club if you value your money and peace of mind.

  • Rachel NewmanSeptember 4, 2025, 1:21 pm

Unlimited Vacation Club is nothing but a never-ending sales machine. We were told we’d get perks for attending their presentation, but it turned into hours of high-pressure tactics. They make the membership sound like a deal, but when you calculate the costs, it doesn’t make sense at all.

Even outside of the presentation, there’s a sense of being targeted. Staff members kept trying to upsell us on extras. We just wanted to enjoy our trip without constantly being sold something. It’s frustrating and not at all what we were looking for in a vacation.
