Legal name: Experiencias Xcaret Web S.A.P.I. de C.V., Experiencias Xcaret Hoteles, S.A.P.I de C.V, Naturama Tours Adventures S.A. de C.V. and Naturaprehispánica Ventura S.L (grupo Xcaret)

Common Complaints from Xcaret Members:

  • The seller convinces the customer to waive their five-day right to cancel, claiming that the membership they are purchasing is a special one-day-only offer.
  • The seller promises to sell the customer’s old timeshare so they can pay for the new one. In the end, the customer is referred to a resale company that doesn’t sell their old timeshare, leaving the customer stuck with two timeshares and the maintenance fees for both properties.
  • Difficulties in making a reservation.

Hotel Xcaret looks like paradise in photos, but behind the glamour the organization is a mess. Reservations for activities are limited, customer service was slow, and many services felt overbooked. What was supposed to be a relaxing, all-in experience ended up being stressful and over-planned.

Hotel Xcaret is visually impressive, but operationally disappointing. Everything requires pre-booking — even basic transportation — yet half of our bookings disappeared from the system. Staff apologized often but didn’t fix anything, which was frustrating for a resort marketed as “all-fun inclusive.”

Hotel Xcaret is beautiful, but in practice it felt overcrowded and chaotic. Many activities required booking way in advance — even simple ones — and once we did book, some were suddenly unavailable. For what we paid, we expected seamless service, not constant complications.

Hotel Xcaret is pretty, but getting the “all-fun inclusive” experience they advertise is a struggle. Most of the activities are booked or sold out, the shuttles run late, and staff always seem frazzled. For such a high price, I expected smoother logistics and better guest treatment.
