Hotel Xcaret México, Hotel Xcaret Arte, La Casa de la Playa

Legal name: Experiencias Xcaret Web S.A.P.I. de C.V., Experiencias Xcaret Hoteles, S.A.P.I de C.V, Naturama Tours Adventures S.A. de C.V. and Naturaprehispánica Ventura S.L (grupo Xcaret)
Common Complaints from Xcaret Members:
- The seller convinces the customer to waive their five-day right to cancel, claiming that the membership they are purchasing is a special one-day-only offer.
- The seller promises to sell the customer’s old timeshare so they can pay for the new one. In the end, the customer is referred to a resale company that doesn’t sell their old timeshare, leaving the customer stuck with two timeshares and the maintenance fees for both properties.
- Difficulties in making a reservation.

Xcaret is beautiful, but it’s not as relaxing as we hoped. Everything from dinner to transportation needs to be scheduled way ahead, and if you miss the window, you're out of luck. Also didn’t appreciate getting roped into a membership offer during what was supposed to be a guided tour.
Hotel Xcaret is visually impressive, but almost everything requires booking in advance—restaurants, transfers, even shows. We were told there’d be more spontaneity allowed. Also felt like a sales pitch during a “VIP tour” that wasn’t advertised.

Xcaret has a lot to offer, but honestly, it felt a little too structured. You have to plan everything ahead of time, food, parks, transport. It made it hard to be spontaneous. Also, we were invited to a “VIP experience” that turned into a sales pitch. That part really changed how we felt about the trip.

Xcaret was beautiful, no doubt, but everything had to be planned in advance, restaurants, park transport, even the shows. It felt like too much managing for a vacation. We also got invited to something that turned into a long sales pitch. We didn’t expect that from a place like this.
