Legal name: Experiencias Xcaret Web S.A.P.I. de C.V., Experiencias Xcaret Hoteles, S.A.P.I de C.V, Naturama Tours Adventures S.A. de C.V. and Naturaprehispánica Ventura S.L (grupo Xcaret)
Common Complaints from Xcaret Members:
- The seller convinces the customer to waive their five-day right to cancel, claiming that the membership they are purchasing is a special one-day-only offer.
- The seller promises to sell the customer’s old timeshare so they can pay for the new one. In the end, the customer is referred to a resale company that doesn’t sell their old timeshare, leaving the customer stuck with two timeshares and the maintenance fees for both properties.
- Difficulties in making a reservation.

Xcaret’s resort is pretty, sure, but everything feels too curated. You’re constantly being told where to go and when. Also, they disguised a timeshare pitch as a “welcome experience.” Really disappointing.
Xcaret is beautiful, but the scheduling is rigid and not relaxing. We were also invited to an "exclusive breakfast," which turned out to be a long talk about their club program. Felt misled.
Hotel Xcaret was overhyped. Yes, it’s beautiful, but everything is so scheduled and restricted. If you don’t go with their timing, you’re stuck. Also, their “special invitation” turned into a 90-minute sales pitch.
Hotel Xcaret is beautiful, but honestly too rigid. If you don’t plan everything in advance, you’re out of luck. And the “VIP tour” they offered us turned out to be just a high-pressure pitch for their club. Disappointing.
Hotel Xcaret is stunning, but not guest-friendly if you don’t plan every second. We missed several restaurants because we didn’t reserve the moment we checked in. It felt more like a logistics exercise than a vacation.
