Vacation Village se veía bien al llegar, pero toda la experiencia estuvo marcada por la insistencia en vender tiempos compartidos. Nos dijeron que había una “orientación corta”, pero en realidad fue una presentación de más de dos horas tratando de convencernos de comprar. Como dijimos que no, nos retiraron los beneficios que habían prometido, lo cual se sintió como un engaño.

La habitación estaba vieja, con internet débil y electrodomésticos en mal estado. El mantenimiento era deficiente y el servicio de limpieza inconsistente. Por lo que pagamos, no valió la pena en absoluto.

Vacation Village looks appealing when you first arrive, but the constant sales pressure overshadows any enjoyment. We were told we had to attend a “short orientation” that turned out to be a two-hour timeshare pitch. After refusing to sign, the perks they had mentioned disappeared, and we were left feeling cheated.

The rooms were outdated, with weak Wi-Fi and appliances that barely worked. Maintenance seemed to be neglected, and housekeeping was irregular. For the amount we paid, it didn’t feel like we got good value at all.

Cuando firmamos, los vendedores nos pintaron un panorama ideal y nos aseguraron que todo sería flexible. En la práctica, nada de eso se cumplió. Me siento engañado y sin ganas de volver a usarlo.

We were told Vacation Village would give us flexibility to travel anywhere with ease, but the system is so confusing and restrictive. To get a decent place, you have to book many months in advance. If you don’t, you’re left with locations that nobody else wanted. That’s not the kind of vacation planning we were expecting.

The sales team was also very pushy during the presentation. They kept us there for hours, promising things that clearly weren’t true once we tried to book. I feel tricked, and now we’re stuck with something that feels more like a burden than a benefit.

Vacation Village promised us flexible vacations, but the exchange system is useless. Most of the properties we want require months of notice and still end up unavailable.
