Real Club (also known as The Real Club Playa Resorts) is a timeshare membership program operated by Real Resorts, a Mexican hotel chain with properties primarily located in Cancún and Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico. The program offers members access to all-inclusive preferential rates across the chain's resorts.

Common Complaints
Real Club timeshare owners and guests have reported a pattern of deceptive sales practices and unfulfilled promises:
1. Unfulfilled Buyback Contracts – Owners report signing buyback contracts (e.g., to sell back interest after 10 years) only to have the company refuse to honor the agreement. One complainant reported being denied a $10,000 buyback.
2. RCI Affiliation Issues – Owners were told they could exchange weeks through RCI, but later discovered that The Royal is no longer affiliated with RCI (having been rebranded to Hilton/Hyatt). When contacting Real Club, they were told they could only use weeks at designated resorts and would have to pay $300 for an "extensive list" of locations.
3. No Price Advantage for Members – Members have found no difference in price whether using their weeks or booking directly. Some resorts require three weeks to use, with prices still exceeding $4,000.

I bought a membership from Real Resorts back in December from Alberto Garcia and Adele - a british woman - fort 44000 USD, they told me this membership had a very high exchange power but I find myself unable to go even to Orlando, a destination where pretty much anyone with a modes time share membership can go. Truth is they got me pretty good, these people are con artists and they will tell you anything you wanna hear in order to sell you a membership. Unfortunately for me I paid cash so, when I tried to get my money back, I could not reach anybody. The person whe read me the contract, some Jassive girl, was the ruudest woman I 've ever encountered in Mexico, I don't understand why she works there. STay away from Real Resorts, they are thieves!!
Real Club in cancun refuses to refund my money for this timeshare which I requested because they did not give us what they promised. I need help to force a time share organization to refund all payments after the proper cancellation of the contract.
