Real Club (also known as The Real Club Playa Resorts) is a timeshare membership program operated by Real Resorts, a Mexican hotel chain with properties primarily located in Cancún and Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Common Complaints
Real Club timeshare owners and guests have reported a pattern of deceptive sales practices and unfulfilled promises:
1. Unfulfilled Buyback Contracts – Owners report signing buyback contracts (e.g., to sell back interest after 10 years) only to have the company refuse to honor the agreement. One complainant reported being denied a $10,000 buyback.
2. RCI Affiliation Issues – Owners were told they could exchange weeks through RCI, but later discovered that The Royal is no longer affiliated with RCI (having been rebranded to Hilton/Hyatt). When contacting Real Club, they were told they could only use weeks at designated resorts and would have to pay $300 for an "extensive list" of locations.
3. No Price Advantage for Members – Members have found no difference in price whether using their weeks or booking directly. Some resorts require three weeks to use, with prices still exceeding $4,000.
hello people, in first place you need to know that real club is not a good investement, even if you only go to vacationate is not, the maintenaces fees are so high and the staff people only are looking the way to rip out your money , very bad experience with those guys

soy socio activo y he tenido las mismas malas experiencias de todos los que aquí se han expresado. Mi aprendizaje: Me costo $3,500 dolares el aprender que en cuestión de vacaciones es mejor comprar lo que vas a consumir en el momento. Se consigue más barato en otro Hoteles de mejor calidad lo mismo que estás obligado a adquirir aquí.
Me estafaron a base de puras mentiras, mi esposa y yo asistimos a la presentacion y ahi nos vendieron casi ala fuerza una membresia , meses despues quisimos usarlo y no pudimos ya que no estaba disponible , ademas de que nos exigian renovar la membresia para poder usarlo , osea estan dementes estas personas? y lo peor de todo es que debes seguir pagando aunque no lo uses.
No habia tenido problemas, hasta hace unos meses con este resort, todo habia ido muy bien pero nos empezaron a exigir una renovacion de nuestra membresia lo cual si no la pagamos no podremos usar nuestro tiempo compartido , ya van 2 meses asi y nos siguen cobrando , necesitamos ayuda .
Actualmente estoy buscando la forma de librarme de mi tiempo compartido , de verdad que no puedo mantenerlo , me estan matando las cuotas de mantenimiento , quiero cancelarlo pero no me deja el resort, acaso no existe forma de hacerlo? gracias.
Anteriormente me ofrecían excelentes promociones, ahora que ya liquide, nada de nada
Hola fui muy torpe en aver comprado con este resort ya que hasta la fecha no hallo la forma de librarme de el.. he hecho mil cosas por cancelar el contrato pero me es IMPOSIBLE hacerlo , he intentado venderlo , incluso regalarlo pero no he podido , espero me puedan ayudar , gracias
Just avoid this resort, just avois timeshare presentations and you will be ok ! dont even get closer to the salespersons theyre professionals cheaters !
alos purchased into the Real Resorts membership. Love the hotel restaurants and employees....servers etc. But, like the many, feel as f I'm being SCREWED over. The last two years promotional prices have increased 35%!!!!!!! I was comfortable with the pricing prior to this nonsense, but they cannot justify the increases.....have been contacting Real to get justification for the increase.....needless to say......they cannot!!!!! seems to coincide with Hyatt merge!!!!!
