Instead, members make a down payment and monthly payments to receive discounted rates at a portfolio of luxury resorts. The club is marketed as offering free or deeply discounted weeklong stays at high-end properties with opulent suites, pristine beaches, swim-up bars, and private concierges.

UVC’s whole structure is confusing and not transparent. What they advertise as “luxury access” ends up being super limited. We tried to book two trips and couldn’t use our supposed benefits either time.

We joined UVC thinking we’d be getting luxury access and flexible trips. But in reality, you have to book a year in advance to get anything decent, and their “exclusive” prices are higher than public rates. Total letdown.

UVC made it sound like we were joining an exclusive travel club, but honestly, we can find better deals online half the time. They overpromise and underdeliver. Can’t even cancel without a fight, and they don’t make it easy to speak to anyone helpful.

We joined UVC thinking it would be a great way to travel more affordably. Joke's on us. The promised discounts were barely different from what you’d find online, and customer service made everything difficult. We ended up booking elsewhere because nothing ever matched what we were told.
