Unlimited Vacation Club (UVC) is a vacation membership program that operates similarly to a traditional timeshare, though it does not involve actual real estate ownership. Instead, members make a down payment and monthly payments to receive discounted rates at a portfolio of luxury resorts. The club is marketed as offering free or deeply discounted weeklong stays at high-end properties with opulent suites, pristine beaches, swim-up bars, and private concierges.

Important: UVC is not affiliated with the Unlimited Vacation Club brand operated by GBS International, Inc. in the United States. The Mexico-based club discussed here is operated by AMResorts® and is closely tied to Hyatt's Inclusive Collection.

Joining UVC was a HUGE regret. Try calling their reps, they just shuffle you around and never give straight answers. You basically pay a giant fee to get offered more expensive upgrades. Everything feels like a bait-and-switch. Total waste.

Joining Unlimited Vacation Club was one of the worst financial decisions I've ever made. Everything is locked behind “blackout dates”, upgrades, and ridiculous wait times. Their so-called "concierge" service is just another way to waste your time while they upsell you more stuff you don’t need.

  • Gregory HarrisMay 11, 2025, 5:50 pm

Stay FAR away from UVC. Their whole model is designed to trap you in a never-ending loop of fees, restrictions, and broken promises. They tell you you're getting “VIP access” but nothing is ever available unless you book YEARS in advance. When you call, they act like it's your fault.

Con Unlimited Vacation Club todo es promesa y nada realidad. Te hablan bonito, pero a la hora de reservar… NUNCA hay lugar. Te ofrecen destinos “exclusivos” que no existen. Pagué mucho por algo que no uso.

They promise “unlimited” options, but almost everything is blacked out or costs extra. Customer service was useless, and trying to get out of the contract? Impossible. Worst travel decision I’ve made. EVER.

Signed up thinking I’d get deals on resorts all over Mexico, NOPE. Always fully booked or "peak season restrictions." On top of that, they keep charging for upgrades I never approved!

  • LuisMay 7, 2025, 4:34 pm

El personal sólo habla de upgrades y más cuotas. Un robo con disfraz de club.

  • Tom E.May 6, 2025, 8:52 am

Unlimited Vacation Club should be called ‘Unlimited Headaches.’ Booking is a MESS, the discounts are barely real, and they kept increasing my fees for stuff I never agreed to. They talk a big game but deliver NOTHING.

  • VanessaMay 6, 2025, 8:51 am

UVC sold me a dream, but all I got was a bottomless money pit. They make you think you're getting VIP access to all AMR resorts, but try booking during holidays? NOPE. And forget about canceling, they trap you in a legal maze that feels like it was built to drain your soul (and wallet). DO NOT FALL FOR IT.
