Unlimited Vacation Club (UVC) is a vacation membership program that operates similarly to a traditional timeshare, though it does not involve actual real estate ownership. Instead, members make a down payment and monthly payments to receive discounted rates at a portfolio of luxury resorts. The club is marketed as offering free or deeply discounted weeklong stays at high-end properties with opulent suites, pristine beaches, swim-up bars, and private concierges.

Unlimited Vacation Club was not unlimited at all. Every booking attempt ran into blackout dates and extra fees that weren’t mentioned upfront. The so-called “exclusive benefits” vanished when we actually tried to use them. It felt like a trap rather than a perk.

UVC sold us a dream of flexible vacations, but the truth was full of block-out dates, surcharges, and confusing availability. Every time we tried to book something reasonable, we hit a wall. Their “member discounts” turned out to be equal or worse than public prices. Regret every peso spent.
La membresía de UVC terminó siendo un dolor de cabeza. Cuando intentamos reservar, siempre hay cargos inesperados, cupo limitado o restricciones que jamás nos mencionaron. El servicio al cliente solo repite guiones. Una pésima inversión.
UVC continues to be nothing but blocked dates and extra fees. Even when we try to plan months ahead, everything “premium” is mysteriously unavailable. It feels like paying for the illusion of exclusivity while getting the leftovers no one else wants.
Unlimited Vacation Club sounded good on paper, but in reality it’s a headache. Every time we tried to use it for a real vacation, dates were blocked or costs were much higher than promised. It’s like they want your money but don’t deliver anything worthwhile.

Unlimited Vacation Club promised flexibility and exclusive deals, but everything is heavily restricted, blackout dates, “preferred” resorts that are never available, and extra fees on top that cancel out any “discount.” Trying to book feels like negotiating a shady contract, not planning a vacation.
