Stayed at Westgate Las Vegas and won’t return. The room was fine, but the constant pitch to upgrade our “ownership level” got old fast. I don’t want to be sold to every time I go on vacation.
The Westgate Orlando Resort was a mess. We had issues with plumbing, the staff was slow to respond, and we were badgered about attending a sales presentation. I just wanted a peaceful vacation.
Molesto.
Westgate Smoky Mountain looked great online, but nothing matched what we saw on the website. The biggest issue was how aggressive the sales team was. I said no more than once, and they just wouldn’t stop.
Westgate Lakes in Orlando looked good at first, but the stay turned into a non-stop sales experience. We got calls to our room every morning inviting us to presentations. Left with a bad taste in our mouth.
Westgate Orlando was a letdown. The facilities were alright, but the constant harassment to attend timeshare presentations ruined it for us. They offered “gifts” to lure us in, but none were delivered.
I stayed at Westgate Lakes and ended up regretting it. The property was okay, but the way they handle their timeshare presentations is just pushy. Even after opting out, they kept trying to “check in” with us about it every day.
