Vacation Village Resorts Timeshare Complaints:
- High maintenance costs: Annual fees are often higher than initially expected.
- Deceptive sales practices: Customers claim they were misinformed about benefits, costs, and cancellation options.
- Difficulty booking reservations: Some customers report problems finding availability at resorts during desired dates.
- Challenges in exiting contracts: Like other timeshares, canceling a contract with Vacation Village Resorts is complicated and may involve legal expenses.
- Depreciation in value: Many owners find that their timeshares have no resale value.
- Pressure during sales presentations: Complaints about being forced to stay in lengthy sales meetings under pressure.
Vacation Village in Orlando felt more like a sales center than a resort. From the second we checked in, they were pushing timeshares. We didn’t even get to enjoy the amenities without someone trying to “chat” about ownership.
We chose Vacation Village at Weston hoping for a peaceful break. Instead, we got constant interruptions from staff trying to sell us on ownership. They even knocked while we were napping. Not cool.
We stayed at Vacation Village at Parkway. The units were outdated, and we found hair in the bathroom on arrival. Maintenance never came when we called. Also got approached for a “presentation” three separate times. We were just trying to relax.
Vacation Village at Weston was not what we expected. The unit was worn out, the hot tub wasn’t working, and we got repeated calls inviting us to their timeshare meeting even after saying no. It was tiring.
No me gustó Vacation Village.
Vacation Village at Parkway didn’t feel like a vacation. Long wait at check-in, our room keys stopped working twice, and the unit felt outdated. We were asked about a “breakfast info session” that turned into a full-on sales pitch.
