Royal Holiday does not have the best reputation among timeshare resorts. Most of their sales are conducted using high-pressure tactics, and a significant number of members feel they have been lied to or scammed. Many timeshare contracts are also misrepresented during the sales process.
One of the most common scams occurs at the time of purchase: a Royal Holiday salesperson will make verbal promises to get you to sign the contract. However, the contract clearly states that any verbal promises made by the sales associate are invalid unless they are explicitly included in the written agreement.
Royal Holiday promises excellent customer service to its members, but this only seems to apply when members call to make a payment. If you have questions or concerns about your membership, the associate will likely say they will send you the information via email—but that email never arrives. The most common response to any unhappy member is to suggest an upgrade, regardless of the issue. As a result, members often end up paying even more for a membership they were never satisfied with in the first place.
Booking with Royal Holiday presents another challenge. During the sales pitch, they promise you can travel anywhere, at any time. This is far from the truth. Your travel options depend entirely on the points you purchase, and unfortunately, they almost always sell you a small points package. By the time you realize you need more points, you're forced to upgrade and pay additional fees.
Most Royal Holiday sales are conducted outdoors or at locations other than their official sales offices. As a "courtesy," they allow you to purchase and sign the contract on the spot, with the salesperson briefly explaining the terms—often omitting important details. Some associates even send the documents to your home while you're still on vacation. By the time you return home and carefully read the contract, you realize it’s not what you thought it was—and worse, your recession period has already expired.
Royal Holiday sales associates may also tell you that you're making a great investment in real estate. This is another major lie. A timeshare is neither an investment nor real estate. You are simply leasing a hotel room for a set period once a year; you do not own the property. It is not an investment because there is no resale market or rental opportunity, meaning there is no potential for profit.

NO QUIEREN REPONERME MIS CREDITOS VACACIONALES SIENDO QUE ME DEJARON SIN HOTEL RESERVADO CON TODA MI FAMILIA EN PLENO 24 DE DIC EN ORLANDO . EL HOTEL ESTABA CERRADO POR NAVIDAD CON UN LETRERO EN LA PUERTA AVISANDO ESTO. ROYAL HOLIDAY NUNCA ADVIRTIÓ Y A LAS 12PM TUVIMOS QUE BUSCAR A DONDE IRNOS DESFASANDO NUESTRO PRESUPUESTO Y GRACIAS A QUE EL TAXISTA SE PERCATÓ Y NO NOS DEJÓ EN PLENA CALLE CON MALETAS .NUNCA ME CONTESTARON EN ROYAL Y AL HOTEL QUE FUIMOS NOS CONDICIONARON 3 NOCHES PUES NOS DIERON LA RESERVA POR NUESTRA SITUACIÓN ESPECIAL. Me permito hacer de su respetable conocimiento que mi estancia en acapulco en el hotel Park Royal es altamente deficiente además de que tratandose de las fiestas navideñas y del año nuevo aumentaron 30 dolares más al todo incluido. Por otra parte solamente daban una toalla por habitacion para bañarse que ademas estaba rota , los colchones duros y sabanas sucias y rotas, por otra parte no existe proteccion para incendios ya que en mi estancia se incendió el restaurante el pescador, las mangueras no sirvieron ya que se fracturaron y tuvieron que llamar a los bomberos, a los 3 días en ese mismo restaurante se caýó un ventilador que afortunadamente a una señora solamente le pegó en la espalda , por otra parte el todo incluido es una falsedad ya que para pasar el año nuevo en la playa se tenia que pagar $600 por persona y además de pagar la lista de botellas por separado.
se quiere aclarar que el mantenimiento de las habitaciones es pésimo.
Haber comprado la membresía Royal Holiday, ha sido una de las peores decisiones de mi vida. Mientras quieren tu dinero son amables, pero la realidad es que nunca hay disponibilidad, solo se trata de sacarte el dinero y es un completo fraude. Pagas por servicios que no recibes, y eso aquí y en China, se llama robar. Jamas vayan a caer en ese "juego". Por favor autoridades, hagan algo al respecto para meter en cintura a compañías como esta.
Some friends of mine actually had big complaints wi this resort, at first they behaved very well , but passed a few months they start to bother them with some extra taxes of maintenance and another extra fees, the problem is that those fees are very high, they are fighting for with the resort because at date they have resolve nothing, so please dont trust in this resort

el servicio de este resort es pesimo.. jamas pudimos dormir durante la tarde, hablamos varias veces para reclamarles y les valio. Estuvieron hable y hable a mi cuarto para darnos regalos supuestamente por ir a visitar todas las intalaciones. Nos echaron mentiras y al final nos querian vender TIEMPO COMPARTIDOS.
