Royal Holiday doesn’t have the best reputation within the timeshare resorts. Most of their sales are done under high pressure sales tactics, a high number of  members at Royal Holiday feel like they have being lied and scam and most timeshare contracts are being misrepresented.

One of the most common scams at the moment of purchase is that Royal Holiday’s sales person will make you any verbal promise to get you to sign their contract, however the contract clearly states that any verbal promise made by the sales associated are invalid unless those promises are establish within the contract.

Royal Holiday promise one of the best customer service for their members, this only happens if the current member is calling to make a payment and if you have any questions or concerns about your membership the associated is more likely to tell you they will send you all the information over email, well sit thigh because this email will never arrived,  The most common answer to any unhappy member at Royal Holiday is to Upgrade your membership no matter what is that you are unhappy about and you end up paying more for a membership you weren’t happy to begin with.

Booking with Royal Holiday is another issue, at the sales’ pitch, they promise you can travel anywhere at any time you want. This is very untrue, it all depend what points you buy and unfortunate they will always sell you the small point package so at the time you realize you need more points, you will need to upgrade and pay even more money to them.

Most Royal Holiday’s Sales are done outdoors or other locations that aren’t Royal Holiday’s Sales office, as a “courtesy” from them, they will let you purchase and sign their contract at the spot, “hey! You wouldn’t miss the opportunity of a lifetime, right?” So by this the sales associated will briefly explain you the contract as their convenient, probably letting out important information to you. Some sales associated opt for sending all the documents to your home, mean while you enjoy of your holidays or vacations, by the time you get home and read careful the contract you realize your purchase is not what you though It was and even worse realize your recession period is over.

Royal Holiday sales associate tells you are doing a great investment in real estate, another huge lie, timeshare is not nor an investment or real estate, you are leasing a hotel room for a period of time once a year, and therefore you do not own the hotel. It is not an investment because there is not market for resale or renting out your unit therefore no profit.

    Con Royal Holiday sentí que la verdadera experiencia comienza cuando intentas utilizar la membresía por primera vez. Ahí descubres que muchas fechas son difíciles de conseguir y que algunos procesos son mucho más complicados de lo que imaginabas al momento de comprar.
    Después de varios años, la frustración ya no viene por un solo incidente, sino por la repetición de los mismos obstáculos. Es por eso que cada vez veo a más propietarios buscando alternativas para cancelar o salir de su contrato.

    Owning a Royal Holiday membership has taught me that buying into a vacation club and actually benefiting from it are two very different things. We've planned trips well in advance, adjusted our schedules, and still struggled to secure the destinations that originally convinced us to join.
    The disappointment grows every year because the expectation stays the same while the experience never seems to improve. It's difficult to recommend something when you spend so much time trying to make it work instead of simply enjoying your vacations.

    I've owned my Royal Holiday membership long enough to realize that booking the vacations you actually want is often much harder than it should be. Planning several months ahead doesn't always solve the problem, and the alternatives offered rarely resemble what convinced us to join in the first place.

    The most discouraging moment came when I found the same destination available through regular travel websites while I was still being told there was nothing for members. Experiences like that make you question whether the membership is delivering the value it originally promised.

    Con Royal Holiday la mayor decepción ha sido descubrir que muchas veces la disponibilidad real no coincide con las expectativas que uno tiene al comprar la membresía. Organizamos nuestras vacaciones con bastante anticipación y aun así terminamos enfrentando muchas limitaciones.
    Después de varios intentos por resolver la situación, comprendí por qué tantas personas buscan información sobre cancelaciones o alternativas para salir del contrato. Es una experiencia muy distinta a la que imaginábamos cuando decidimos firmar.

    Owning a Royal Holiday membership has become far more complicated than I ever imagined. We bought it believing we'd have dependable vacations every year, but finding useful availability has been an ongoing challenge. Planning months ahead doesn't always seem to make much difference.
    What finally convinced me something wasn't right was comparing availability with public booking websites. Seeing rooms advertised there while members were told to choose different dates was incredibly discouraging. At that point, I started questioning whether keeping the membership still made sense.

    Con Royal Holiday aprendí que el verdadero reto comienza después de comprar. Al principio todo gira alrededor de las ventajas de la membresía, pero conforme intentas utilizarla aparecen restricciones, poca disponibilidad y procesos que nadie explicó con detalle.
    Lo más frustrante ha sido sentir que siempre hay un obstáculo nuevo para reservar en las fechas que realmente nos sirven. Después de varios intentos fallidos, uno termina preguntándose si la membresía realmente ofrece el valor que prometieron al momento de venderla.

    Firmamos con Unlimited Vacation Club convencidos de que sería una manera práctica de viajar con mayor frecuencia. Con el paso del tiempo, la experiencia terminó siendo mucho más complicada de lo esperado.
    Las reglas cambian, las cuotas aumentan y muchas decisiones requieren revisar condiciones que nunca parecían importantes al principio. Esa acumulación de detalles hace que la membresía pierda gran parte del atractivo que tenía cuando la compramos.

    I tried booking through my Royal Holiday membership months in advance and still encountered the same frustration that other owners often mention: the destinations and dates we actually wanted were either unavailable or required compromises that defeated the purpose of owning the membership.
    The difficult part is watching public booking sites display options that members supposedly cannot access. After enough conversations with customer service and repeated promises of callbacks, you begin to wonder whether maintaining the contract still makes sense.
