Royal Holiday does not have the best reputation among timeshare resorts. Most of their sales are conducted using high-pressure tactics, and a significant number of members feel they have been lied to or scammed. Many timeshare contracts are also misrepresented during the sales process.
One of the most common scams occurs at the time of purchase: a Royal Holiday salesperson will make verbal promises to get you to sign the contract. However, the contract clearly states that any verbal promises made by the sales associate are invalid unless they are explicitly included in the written agreement.
Royal Holiday promises excellent customer service to its members, but this only seems to apply when members call to make a payment. If you have questions or concerns about your membership, the associate will likely say they will send you the information via email—but that email never arrives. The most common response to any unhappy member is to suggest an upgrade, regardless of the issue. As a result, members often end up paying even more for a membership they were never satisfied with in the first place.
Booking with Royal Holiday presents another challenge. During the sales pitch, they promise you can travel anywhere, at any time. This is far from the truth. Your travel options depend entirely on the points you purchase, and unfortunately, they almost always sell you a small points package. By the time you realize you need more points, you're forced to upgrade and pay additional fees.
Most Royal Holiday sales are conducted outdoors or at locations other than their official sales offices. As a "courtesy," they allow you to purchase and sign the contract on the spot, with the salesperson briefly explaining the terms—often omitting important details. Some associates even send the documents to your home while you're still on vacation. By the time you return home and carefully read the contract, you realize it’s not what you thought it was—and worse, your recession period has already expired.
Royal Holiday sales associates may also tell you that you're making a great investment in real estate. This is another major lie. A timeshare is neither an investment nor real estate. You are simply leasing a hotel room for a set period once a year; you do not own the property. It is not an investment because there is no resale market or rental opportunity, meaning there is no potential for profit.

Page más de $150,000 pesos jamás la he ocupado, solicite cancelación no se puede y ya me mandaron a buró .... Que hago mi historial crediticio estaba perfecto y ahora esto me perjudica
El año pasado pague mantenimiento para quedar sin adeudo hablé a las oficinas para solicitar la cancelación de la membresía y qué es lo que tenía que hacer para cancelarla y me contestaron que no podía hacerlo que tenía que seguir con ella y si no pagaba me enviarían al buró de crédito pienso si ya pagaste toda la membresía y no pagas mantenimiento pierdes los derechos de la misma quedando cancelado a demás nunca te dan recibos de pagado y si ya no lo quiero que lo cancelen
Yo estoy tratando de tomar mis primeras vacaciones con un certificado "gratis" que viene en la membresia, pero me doy cuenta que me sale mas caro comprar el "todo incluido" para los alimentos y los boletos de avión por aparte para usar la membresia de Royal Park, que comprar un paquete con todo incluido incluyendo boletos de avion por Volaris, ! y en el mismo hotel Park Royal Cozumel !!!!. Yo creia que me iba a salir mas barato !!! No puede ser !! . Práctiamente les estoy pagando para que me salgan mas caras las vacaciones !!!!. Es todo un fraude !
Ya es un robo y una exageracion la cuota anual que se debe de pagar, y cada ciertod meses van censuranfi mas a los socios para que podamos viajar en "temporada baja" y "aprovechar los beneficios" de ser socio, es un abuso lo que estan haciendo y sobre todo una estupidez que hagan udo de sus redes sociales y plataformas para promocionar destinos y que no se cumplan lo que ofertan
Desde 2008 que compre la membresia solo la he usado comom dos veces, siempre que llamo no tienen disponibilidad y quieren que salga cuando ellos quieren. Se ponen en una actitud sorda y nunca le dan la razon al cliente. La mayor parte de sus destinos operan con all inclusive que es caro. El vendedor que me vendio en Puerto Vallarta me pinto de colores todo.

Hola soy socio de Royal desde hace 4 años y he tenido mala experiencia una tras otra estoy de acuerdo con un comentario ya publicado que con ellos es sumamente caro siempre y cuando haya "disponibilidad" hablando que tienes que reservar con más de 6meses de anticipación. Con un pésimo servicio al cliente y la una experiencia que me queda claro es "primero su conveniencia y el dinero y que se joda el cliente" mienten y mienten con pésima calidad
