Debido a que perdi mi trabajo, me vi imposibilitado de continuar pagando la cuota de Mantenimiento, le avise a Raintree Vacation Club de mi situacion, mi intencion de cancelar o congelar mi membrecia hasta que estubiera en condiciones de pagarla nuevamente. La membrecia ya esta pagada al 100% solo ya no pude continuar pagando la cuota de mantenimiento. No me han dado una respuesta favorable a mi peticion, pero me llegan notificaciones de una tal CONCORD para que pague o de lo contracio se iniciaria un proceso legal en mi contra.. Haria un esfuerzo de continuar con la membrecia a partir de Enero 2014; pero desearia no me cobraran las cuotas de mantenimiento que no se pagaron ya que por no pagar no tenia derecho a reservar.
Got a letter in the mail today from Raintree Vacation Club of which we have been members for 6 years. They are whining about not being able to meet all the "upgrades" their members want, so they now have to charge an $820 "Special Assessment". This company is a joke. Every time we have tried to book a timeshare vacation with them we have either been unable to or have had to jump through major hurdles to do so.
I purchased my timeshare last year and my maintenance fee this year has doubled, and no one will explain it to me, i'm not gonna pay for it no more. How can i get rid of this timeshare?
I bought into the Club Regina when it first got started...25 years ago...It was supposed to be a non-profit entity with the owners and management serving on the board of directors and having full transparency...of budget and operating expenses..It was a great experience for a while ...until Raintree Vacational International took over the management...Now there is no transparency , no budgets , no knowledge of operating costs and I do not know how a Non-profit Club was stolen by RAINTREE management in cahoots with their mexican counterparts...Bancomer used to own the properties but they sold to maybe Citi-bank so the perpetrators are us based ...anyway ..be careful....stay away,,,,All I get when I go to the resorts is bad accomodations and service and they constantly want me to change ..upgrade they call it ..my contract ..more money all the time ..if you do not give them more money they tell you that the resort is full especially the high season which I am sure they rent the units...milking you of your money...stay away....I have asked them for my money , turned them in to the California Attorney General..They quickly moved out of state , hired a lawyer in Mexico and found out that they were using a front in Guadalajara for damage control.. also turned them int to the us attorney general ..the gm is an attorney so don't expect any type of investigation ...you are on you own stay away and call me if you have any questions ...ps i can tell if you are from Raintree...give me my money back or i will continue to tell the truth online...JJ
Tengo mi membresia desde el 2001 y es un verdadero fraude viajara por mi cuenta fuera mas barato
Segunda ingrese no se puede traspasar la membresia. Ahora ofrecen un cambio para perder tiempo y cambiar a 7años o hasta 14 lo que resta de la propiedad. La pregunta es como le hacen para que mi propiedad valga menos en vez de más?? Si yo soy quien aporta. Más años a cambio de menos?? Y además me cobran la diferencia!!! Qué no se supone con toda lógica que debería ser al contrario?? Cómo pueden cobrar cuando las cuotas de mantenimiento son exageradas ya a cambio sigue estando igual y me han cobrada ya dos remodelaciones. we bought long ago in Cancun and moved through three different management companies to where we are today. our kids enjoy the cLub Regina for the many exchange opportunities it offers near Seattle and LA. fabulous properties! the family went skiing in Park City. We love Cancun and have enjoyed growing with it since about 1983. During the early years the management changes were frustrating but being able to upgrade or split use of our 2 bedroom grand to allow us access for short or longer periods, for holidays, and at great Canadian, Eastern and Western Mexican resorts, as well as fabulous properties in Palm Springs, coastal WA,and Kaanapali, HI is absolutely incredible and easy to manage. Plan ahead and enjoy your personal concierge. Too much purchase pressure? Just tell them so. If you want an update about options and what is going on, listen and say good bye. You do not have to buy more, unless of course you look forward to some great vacations. Now if only they would add reasonable grocery stores for our use. Why have a kitchen if getting groceries is too difficult? Is the management afraid there will not be enough use of restaurants? If prices were lower, I might go to a restaurant everyday, but I bought timeshare with a full kitchen in order to enjoy leisurely and experimental cooking and meals on my veranda with my friends and family during our precious little bit of time together.
Las políticas del tiempo compartído son muy agresivas contra los "Socios", que almenos deberían llamarnos por lo que somos "ESTAFADOS" y no socios. Si firmaste y se pasaron los 5 días, estás amolado por mucho mucho tiempo, y eso hace que te sientas pisoteado en tu dignidad personal. Raintree, esta subiendo las cuotas a pasos alarmantes y además esas cuotas especiales son una burla, ya que no se mencionan en ningun contrato. ¿Como podemos liberarnos de eso?

Yo tambien compre una membresía en el 2007 en años pares y hasta la fecha solo pago mantenimiento excesivamente caros y no la he utlilizado nunca!! porque como comentan por aqui los tiempos han cambiado y o pago el mantenimiento o viajo no me alcanza para ambas cosas, no se mucho de leyes ni nada que se le parezca tengo mi contrato y lo leo y leo y viene una cantidad fijada de mantenimiento y en ningun lado dice si se debe incremntar lo entiendo por el tipo de cambio pero no por la cantidad de dolares, ahora tambien una afliliacion que hay que pagar cada año por 95 dls esa no se donde dice en el contrato que se deba pagar y luego esas cuotas de mantenimiento que se inventaron, no se que hacer estoy realmente triste y me mortifica tener que pagar por algo que no puedo usar po falta de recuersos economicos y me sale mas barato viajar por mi cuena en que en estos tiempos compartidos y luego quiero viajar con mi familia y resulta que solo es para 2 personas y no caben mas que dejo a mis hijos?.....alguien de todos los que se quejan aqui conoce de leyes o es abogado que podamos unirnos y analizar el contrato a fondo o nos asesoren a ver si es valido todo esto?.......ya ni si quiera quiero venderla no me interesa quisiera regalarla pero nadie la quiero por los mantenimientos tan grandes que hay que pagar podremos renunciar a ella?.....alguien de todos ustedes que sepa de leyes unamonos hagamos una junta o reunidon en alguna parte quien esta dispuesto envieme un correo a la siguiente dirección [E-mail]
