Is there a legal way out of a timeshare contract?

My husband and I simply can not afford our timeshare anymore, and we owe more than it will sell for, so selling it will not help much b/c we will still owe a monthly payment to them for the difference. Is there anyway to get rid of this thing?!

There´s always a way to get rid of a timeshare but try not just to stop paying the balance because you can have legal problems too so the best you can do is to get legal assistance at the country where you purchased, it will be much better.
