I purchased a unit at Krystal recently and was completely duped.  I should have known when they were bragging about how much they make every year in timeshare sales...laughing all the way to the bank with my money!!!! I'm a single mom and work for a nonprofit organization. I thought I was purchasing something that we could enjoy and look forward to and this has jettisoned me into some serious financial hardship. I just can't believe it...

they convinced us to pay in full because that would be the best way to rent out our property because they give first priority to those who don't owe on their property. It gets better! They also told us that if we paid it in full and weren't happy at any time in the future then the developer would buy back the property at a lower price than we paid, it would most likely be half the price. We are out a lot of money!! Our biggest concern is that if we "give" back the week and jut stop paying the maintenance it will affect or show up on our credit.

We purchased a 1 bedroom unit every other year in Puerto Vallarta in 2002. We have used it every otehr year and have had no problems to complain about. If we had a problem arise I talked with the members office on PV and they took care of it. We were asked to upgrade to a Villa in 2006  and turned it down. they later comtacted us with the offer of a 2 bedroom Villa everyother year for no cost. We ended up taking it and have again had no problems. We have stayed and used the lock off option so we could stay for 2 weeks and had no complaints. They have raised the maintenence fees since we first started. We also have used the K Plus numerous times and stayed in the hotel part for $79 a night   for an ocean side room.

I was offered a sale of my Mexican timeshare ownership, I have been asked for 6% payment for sales commission up front which I wired to an account in Mexican bank then I was asked for a larger payment for transfer fees 1 day before closing. I refused and was told that I would lose the 6 % payment because I had broken the contract. I suspect a scam.

I purchased a timeshare at Krystal Resort in Cancun on June 7, 2011. I cancelled the purchase on June 9, 2011 with a formal cancellation letter as they requested, and they said my refund would take 15 business days. I have not heard from them, and the refund has not occured. I tried to call but can't get thorugh.
