    We foolishly purchaced a time share from this placde on March 15, 2009 We Cancelled on March 17, 2009 
    We shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS) the original signed cancellation letter and all of the contract paperwork marked through and cancelled.On March 31, 2009, April 1,2009 and  June 17, 2009 we sent emails requesting a status of the refund of our deposit.  Cabo Villas Beach Resport & Spa never responded nor refunded the deposit. On June 23, 2009 I phoned Cabo Villas Beach Resport & Spa and spoke with Adam Clapp.  At first he said they didn’t have the money, that he’d have to talk to the company accountant, but would not tell me who that was.  Then he said that they were going to charge us for the free night we spent at the resort in a room that was out of service for electrical maintenance but wouldn’t tell me what that amount was. We had also returned a coupon for free nights.... The conversation became very heated and I begged him to return our deposit – to do the right thing.  He said that I was going to have to go through Profeco to get our deposit back.   I had hoped that after Adam calmed down he might do the right thing but to this date we have not received the refund.  
    More than two months working through PROFECO‏ resulted in them agreeing that our deposit was what the free night was worth.  Personally my experience with PROFECO was very frustrating and feel that they are either corrupt or unqualified to perform the job they are employed to do!

    I bought a membership at CaboVillas and I´m not happy with it and now I’m at my wit’s end. I have been calling them and sending emails, but they are ignoring me. I only received an answer to one of my emails and it was to tell me that I can’t cancel my membership.   They have terrible customer service.

    My husband and I purchased a membership at Cabo Villas . We are disappointment for this purchase because we were lied and misleading by the salesperson. We made a down payment of $8,000 and the representatives promised us that they would rent out our weeks for this year in order to give us a refund of $3,000 and they didn´t. What can we do?

    Hola, mi esposo compró una membresía en Mayo de este año en Cabo Villas, pero  nos dijeron que para el termino de 30 años íbamos a recibir nuestro dinero de regreso junto con dinero acumulado de los intereses, pero una amiga me comento que eso no es verdad y nos asustó un poco, nos contactamos con el resort y le dijimos que mejor queríamos cancelar y ahora nos dicen que no podemos y que tenemos que terminar de pagar la membresía. A este punto estamos cansados de estar llamando frecuentemente a  el hotel y no tener ninguna respuesta.

    Cabo villas sold us a timeshare on agreement that they would purchase my current timeshare. They made guarantees that our timeshare would be purchased within 120 days from day we signed the contract.  It has been 6 months since we signed and we haven´t received nothing yet. What can we do?

    I was scammed by Cabo Villas and I am trying to cancel my timeshare . After reviewing the contract, we decided that we did not want to keep the timeshare. We are within our 5 days rescission period but we don’t want to have problems to cancel our contract. What should we do?

    I am tired and stressed because I cannot get rid  of a fraudulent contract that  I bought with Cabo villas a few months ago, they promised me to sell my current timeshare that I have in Florida and they have not done anything.
     
    I feel stressed because I have to pay the first monthly payment for my  Villa del Cabo membership and I have not  gotten any money for my other membership and I am not going to have enough money to pay for both memberships. I would not like to spend my savings on this.

    I purchased a timeshare at Cabo villas, when I ask them about the rent out of my weeks they told me that they have a broker in Florida that would rent out my weeks for a profit, but the broker never existed. And now my maintenances fees are going up and they are asking me for a special assessment for $10,000

    Estamos teniendo muchos problemas  para poder reservar, es un problema  y ya estamos cansados que cada que tenemos que reservar pasamos por esto. Además cuando compramos la membresía nos enseñaron una habitación totalmente diferente a la que nos dieron la única vez que nos quedamos en el hotel, no es lo que se nos prometió , así que si alguien planea comprar una membresía con ellos le recomendamos pensarlo 2 veces antes de hacerlo.

    My husband and I were convinced to attend a Timeshare presentation. During that presentation we were promised that we could rent our timeshare out each year and within a few years have it paid for. We paid a broker company and they told us that they would contact us but they never did. We have not heard anything back since.
