    I have purchased a timeshare with Avalon in Cancun, Mexico. It is paid for. The resort is no longer no long offering many of the options that made us love the resort. Is there anything I can do?

    I recently purchased into the Grand Paradise Club and now realize it is a scam. I would like to get my money back. I paid $3000 for the membership and it states that the payment is non refundable but the membership can be cancelled at anytime. Can you help me?

    Soy abogado en Panamá y mi cliente en su membresía puede incluir personas y por lo tanto me incluyó a mí. Pero a la Adminisradora de AVALON GRANT PANAMÁ le duele, no se por qué, que también yo tenga los Beneficios y me dice que tiene que "conversar" con otras personas, sin darme explicaciones y sin recibir la nota notariada del miembro que solicita se me añada a los beneficios. Me parece un abuso de esta cadena de hoteles, que no se qué es lo que esconden en beneficios que prometen y no otorgan.     My Avalon contract has cost me money, heart ache: and a loss of sleep. I have never even stayed at the Avalon Grand or used the timeshare. I paid the $4225 promissory note off early to avoid an unreasonable $4.75 proessing fee (whoever heard of that)  Maintenance fees quickly rose from $390 to $528. When I did not make my 2010 maintenance payment on time, (I was on vacation-no excuse) resortcom added 10% interest per month. I called to offer to pay the original amt but not the 10% interest. they put me on hold. After an hour wait, they hung up. As of today Resort Recovery Solutions LLC gave me the choice of paying $933 to be reintstated, or $1037.52 to be released from the contract. I don't like either choice but what can I do? Why should buying a vacation package make you worry like this and feel so trapped? If you bother to read the promissory note or contract why in your right mind would you ever sign up for this?

    Recent visit to the Omni Cancun Resort and went to the vacation club tour, and signed a contract for a 15 week package on 12/1/11. I tried to cancel on 14/4/11 in person at the resort and was told I would lose my $5,959.50 deposit by the sales rep.

    tengo un "contrato" con global quest el cual no se ha cumplido lo que se me prometio, desde un inicio a sido un batallar para el sistema de cobro, por lo que me gustaria cancelar este servicio. De acuerdo al contrato dice que lo puedo hacer, pero citando esta clausula con ellos me dicen otra cosa.
