i think they're the biggest liars ever, it's such a problem to make deals with them...

We originally purchased a Studio in 2005 @ Hacienda Del Mar then in 2007 upgraded to a one bedroom Luxery suite. We were told that the maintenance fee would be $599.00 per year and that the cost might vary a little but only by a few dollars. Also we were told that we could have them rent our week if needed or they could also re-sell the unit if needed. I have since been diagnoised with a rare disease and we have many medical bills. We cannot keep up with the yearly fees. Which are now $800.00 per year with late penelty's.We have not paid 2012 and are now being billed for 2013 and we have 3 weeks banked with RCI.We have this terrible debt until 2032 with an undetermined yearly maintance fee that can continue to rise every year.(and not by a FEW dollars).I contacted Hacienda Del Mar to get help in renting it out as they told me,guess what? They don't do that. Then when I asked them to resell it,they don't do that either. No help at all except they did say they will send us to collections if we don't pay. I tried to contact the manager that sold us both the unit and the upgrade and they say he does not work there anymore, although when you talk to Quinto Del Golfo they tell you to contact their sales director,John Vering. So does he work there ?Maybe? Maybe not? Complete run around.Anyways my questions are#1. Can they raise the maintence fees for ever at any amount till the contract is over? Can they be made to resell for you? Is there a way out of this BS deal?Help any information will be greatly appreciated,Sondra

I have recently purchased a timeshare at Hacienda Encantada. Upon my return home I was reviewing documents and noticed my 15 year deal was for 30 years

I recently purchased Hacienda del Mar vacation club in Cabo. I cancelled my contract within five days. I faxed and send them my written statement. I have contacted them numerous times, they even told me it will be taken care of. This week, the contract department said that they forwarded my email to their supervisor in the sales department. No answer or response.

My husband and I are timeshare victims. We bought at HDM 6/2008 and found out it was not what was promised. We need to stop a "memebership" from runing our credit, we have completly paid them over $10,000.00 and they still want more for something that we do not use.

I have 1 week time share at hacienda del mar I continue to have increased maintenance dues and yearly assements. I don't want the week, the deed is clear, I just want to give it back and they said they have no use for a 1 Bedroom but if it was a 2 bedroom they would take it back. How can I return this week to the resort. I am considering not paying the dues and let them get it back by default. Any suggestions?

I have had a timeshare at Hacienda for about 15 years. I am tired of the escalating maintenance fees and we haven't used it every year. I am planning to donate it. However; I want to get out of the most recent (2012) maintenance fees.
        Thanks
        Lynn
