Contraté “Todo Incluido Premium” y me pusieron menú estilo comedor escolar. Y los vendedores de tiempo compartido… insoportables. No me siento estafado, ME SIENTO VENDIDO.

Moon Palace Cancun? More like Moon SCAM!! The resort staff kept grilling me about upgrading to their “elite timeshare plan” like I was an ATM. Zero stars if I could.

no se le saca provecho para lo mucho que debes pagar. No te dejan cancelar facilmente, yo tengo como 10 años con ellos y basicamente estoy dando el dinero gratis.

I purchased a timeshare at Palace Resorts and now I'm really frustrated because I no longer want it. Can anyone offer advice on how to get out of a Palace Resorts timeshare? I feel stuck and overwhelmed by the financial burden. Any tips or experiences shared would be greatly appreciated.

Mi esposa y yo contratamos una membresía con la cadena Palace (antes Palace Premier, ahora Palace Elite), en Puerto Aventuras, Quintanta Roo, hace 20 años.

Las cosas más o menos funcionaron, a un precio alto, pero recibiendo buenos servicios mediante semanas "gratis" (le llaman semanas imperiales) a lo largo de los años. En estos años hicimos varios upgrades a nuestra membresía, hasta que la ultima, el año pasado (2023) resultó una verdadera estafa.

Ahora que quisimos reservar para viajar el próximo verano, resulta que tenemos que pagar, a pesar de haber pagado más de 15 mil dólares de anticipo y otros 5 mil, hasta la fecha, en mensualidades. Aparentemente nuestras semanas "gratis" se activan hasta después de 3 años, lo cual es una barbaridad, pues por lo que hemos pagado podríamos comprar varias semanas en esos hoteles, a precio de mercado.

Nuestro interés es anular el acuerdo del año pasado (upgrade) y obtener los pagos de vuelta. Estaríamos de acuerdo en mantener nuestra membresía como estaba hasta antes del upgrade.

Nos hicimos socios hace varios años, y si bien pudimos usar semanas gratis y cOn descuentos, no se si vale la pena seguir pagando ya que por supuesto fuimos haciendo upgrades y el ultimo nos esta resultando muy caro. Como podemos releer el contrato último?

Me and my wife were victims of a scam by Moon Palace staff in august 2021, as soon as I signed I looked up the timeshare reviews and it turns out they have been scamming for years. The worst part is that you cannot cancel it, or that is what they told me... after getting an attorney he explained to me they lied about cancellation as well, it has been difficult to get them off of me.

Please if any of you plan to stay with Palace resorts do not buy a timeshare in the resort. The salespeople are preying on Americans to take advantage of you. Many of them work for scam companies and the hotel will protect them. Although they will show you their "credentials" usually none of them work for the resort you are going to, just say no thanks and keep moving

Don´t even bother to sit and listen to a Palace resort timeshare or membershio presentation, it will turn into a nightmare. We thought we were well informed, asked questions and yet, we still fell into the scam. There ir a cancellation clause in the contract, and when we decided to cancel, they sent us to collections and illegally posted negative credit report to the agencies. That´s what a criminal would do.

I bought a one-bedroom timeshare at moon Palace in 2020. They said they would buy another timeshare we owned as part of the deal but never asked us to sign any papers. The only reason we bought it was because they said we could rent out our week and get a christmas week for a minimum price. They also said we would have unlimited weeks of going to many hotels for $30 per night. But this was never on the terms and conditions and I found out too late.
