They just stole everyone... due to the tourism crisis that mexico is experiencing the hotels are lying to Mexicans as well. So far it’s very clear that they are not willing to help us to make it simple cancelling our contract. We need some help clearly! Our advice is do not even think of purchasing a timeshare with this resort.

The sale was based on lies and misrepresentation of the timeshare; I have contacted the resort in order to cancel my contract; but they just don't comply with my request.
I believe that they want more money... if they lied me in order to get me into the sale they will lie again in order to force me to pay my balance.

These sales people are the worst scammers I've run across like others we were promised numerous amenities that were all bogus but the worst is we thought we bought a lovely 2 bedroom and instead are stuck in the equivalent to a hotel room with no kitchen. The resort itself is very nice and so are the people that work here but their sales people are totally dishonest so I imagine is the management

I was totally scammed / ripped off by Puerto Bahia Villas & Spa in April 2103 by Salesman Gareth Grieve. He had a person from Plantinum Resort Services on the phone lying to me about buying other timeshares I owned. I "gave" Puerto Bahia $5,000 USD and $1,000 USD to Platinum Resort Services. In return, I had a week to use at Puerto Bahia which was not available to me when I requested it. Platinum Resort Services lied to me for nearly a year that they were "close" to having my other timeshares sold. I finally gave up when they stopped replying to my emails and they won't answer their phone. These two companies know that it would cost me a lot more money to fight them to get the money they "stole" from me. It is really sad that these companies have lied and stolen so much money for so many people and they are getting away with it!

The bad thing is when you go there you don't have the knowledge and you end up falling for their lies.
