We are victims of this scam and do not bye from Tau. They get you to sign a contract by promising things that they will never deliver. Oui experience was getting caught by being told that we could bye for investment and they would rent our facilities every year for us through one of their sister company. We paid 400$ to their sister compagny "my preferred travel" to learn that they were not guaranteeing the rent as was promise by Tau people. Lies, lies and more lies as we go along.

Tau Resorts sold and continues to sell timeshares with a refund clause in their contract. Basically, the clause will allow you a full refund if the resort is not ready for occupation by a date specific. Our date was July 15, 2011! They still are not open and are giving December 2012 as the opening date. No way! They haven't done very much since May 2012. We contacted PROFECO as did many other owners but no one has gotten their refund as far as we know. Stay away from them!

I was there today.  It's "expected" opening date is now July, 2012.  A few men working but not even an outside shell is completed yet.  We did not buy but were not given our "incentive" because the manager said we were not truthful with them when we said at one time that nothing would necessarily keep us from buying and another time said that we weren't buying because we weren't going to make that investment at this time.  No incentive payment after 5 hours there.  My impression is that you get the incentive only if you buy.  RUDE manager!  SCAM written all over it.
