In this section you will find valuable information about Pueblo Bonito Fractional ownership business. If you´re thinking or you already closed a deal on buying a timeshare in Pueblo Bonito resorts, since there is some content on importat review sites that consist of people giving their opinion about their timeshare buying experience with several resorts, including Pueblo Bonito membership reviews in the same sites.

Pueblo Bonito is known for being part of large resort chain with great status and prestige, wich owns other many resorts  dedicated to commit fraud on selling luxurious timeshare units. And same as the other resorts, it is certainly luxurious and stands for its large and beautiful buldings, offers outdoor activities such as golf, tennis, entertainment, event services and restaurants of an excellent level located all over Mexico´s most beautiful coasts.

But speaking of Pueblo Bonito fractional ownership (Pueblo Bonito Travel Club)selling it isn´t  as good as they claim to treat their guests, as we can see in the Pueblo Bonito timeshare reviews and common complaints recently made.

Common complaints:

  • Salesperson has the client sign a waiver giving up their 5 day right to cancel as it is a special one-day only offer. This is illegal in Mexico.
  • Salesperson promise to sell their old timeshare to offset the cost  of the new timeshare in the end the client is referred  to resale company that does not sell the old timeshare and the client is stuck with two timshare and the maintenance fees for both properties.
  • Complaints about Concord Pueblo Bonito & Pueblo Bonito Travel Club.

Pueblo Bonito timeshare reviews

This chain of resorts with a lot more premises around Mexico such a Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay and Pueblo Bonito Pacifica has been target of many reviews by people pointing out bad experiences buying a timeshare.

Also, on the complaint board blog you can find content about Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach timeshare in problems involving the resort.

Pueblo Bonito reviews

The list is long, an involves the rest of Pueblo Bonito resorts listed at the beggining of this section and besides timeshare reviews clients even mention problems with Pueblo Bonito membership reviews, since the scammers and sales people tend to offer a membership update that in no way will benefit the clients

How they operate

The Pueblo Bonito ownership fraud usually starts with a convincing and charming sales person. Many people clainm that the seller invites couples in particular to a meeting, so they get the timeshare concept explanation about owning and sharing a private residence with other people every timeshare they travel and stay in a Pueblo Bonito resort.

The couples have a tour in the different unit areas that are said to be available for them to pick. In the end, buyers have claimed they received quite a different unit. They also tend to persuade customers to increase the membership level of the resort , wich has been target of critics in many Pueblo Bonito membership reviews. In case of non-registered customers, the seller will convince them to at least become a member.

They will ask if they own another timeshare that they no longer use and tell them that Pueblo Bonito will sell it to lower the price of the current timeshare that the customer buy, but in reality they are leaving everyone on a big debt after signing the contract.

If you are the victim of a timeshare scam, you can agree one of the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach timeshare problems about the pressure they put on you.

The worst part of the customers is that the seller will never teel you about the five days recession period in wich you can terminate the contract of timeshare. Not to mention that they also lie and say that it will be impossible to cancel the ccontract after signing it. This is a typical leading indicator of a timeshare scam. This las one tends to be a big complaint in the Pueblo Bonito timeshare reviews posted on Trip Advisor.

In conclusion

Like we said before, it is very well represented on the Pueblo Bonito Travel Club reviews posted online and on the common complaints listed above, that the scammer plague it´s getting bigger and bigger.

For the most part this happens in Mexico, such a beautiful and exotic country and it works because the sales people take advantage of the limited law knowledge  of foreigners and tourist while on vacation in different country. Like the case of Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach timeshare and problems that arise, not only about timeshare, but poor management and unpleasant from the staff , arter tourist reject timeshare meeting invitations.

Now, also reselling timeshare business is finding it´s way to scam and manipulate timeshare owners and convince them they could get a good amount of money for their old unit, setting up a false client with false ID documents that is ready to buy the unit at the moment. They send all tha fake information to the old unit owner, who is just ready to give it away in exchange of some "fees" for cleaning and maintenance, made up by the scammer. Finally the victim realizes he never received any money for this property and he was scammed.

If you are interested in investing in fractional ownership, we suggest you to find legitimate companies and being alert when doing business of this kind. Being alert on red flags could be a major help. Always make sure you look up the background of the seller online. In addition, it´s fair to suspect from sales people asking for an upfront fee, a trustworthy deal is made like a real state business is made.

We were scammed by Dirk Meyer. We were told we were getting a foreclosure deal which is worth twice as much as we paid for. He told us if we were to sell it in two years we would double our money. He told us our presidential suite was worth $6000/week and we would have no problem renting it out. A total lie when we returned.

When we returned we discovered the bonus week was a lie. They switched the paper work on us. They gave us something else (premier weeks) instead of bonus weeks at the resort.

We want to cancel due to misrepresentation and Dirk is refusing. What do we do?
They charged us $7000. We want to get a lawyer in a Cabo to sue them. Any other suggestions? Can we do anything together?

The only advice I can give is - do not buy, do not rent, and do not go. Pass the word until it hurts them and they will change their ways - there are plenty of other good resorts and you can rent on line. I'm an owner at PSSB and the food is not good, they are not honest, and it is a shame, because they could do a lot better if they were honest. If you want a timeshare - research them very carefully before you buy.

I stayed at Pueblo Bonito and got sucked into buying a timeshare for their Novoespania. Like everyone here, I was promised all the good stuff they can come up with and of course after I got back home to the US, I realized that I was scammed. Immediately called back my salesman Mark Biddle and Eddy Childers who are nboth crooks and was given the run around. Tried their customer service manager as well Alfredo Ramirez with no luck to try and cancel my contract and get my deposit back. Mind you I did it within the 5 day grace period for buyers to change their mind. I was so mad but that did not do anything. So next thing I did is I hire the services of an excellent lawyer in Cabo that I got from the Tijuana consulate list and in a week got my contract cancelled, depsosit returned, and the note on the loan which will be activated if I did not pay the remaining balance in 60 days cancelled. In a few months, they will realize that they screwed with the wrong person because in the next few weeks I will begin the process of destroying their business. So everyone here who have been wronged by this company will have their payback and that is a guarantee.

I went to Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach in 2006 with a friend. She wanted to buy into the timeshare in the worst way. Since I already owned TWO timeshares I did not want to. They told us not to worry that they would sell my first timeshare which would give me the money to cover my cost with this one. Of course that never happened. My friend lost her job shortly thereafter so her plan to 'buy me out' never materialized. I lost my job in 2009 and I'm stuck paying for the maintenance fees on three timeshares that I can't use and can't afford to pay maintenance fees on them. It is a beautiful resort but they rent out their rooms to the public for less than what we pay in maintenance fees so there is no market to sell or rent. The entire industry is a SCAM. Avoid it like the plague.

Got scammed by this place like everyone else. Told the same bunch of bs about renting extra weeks, how great the trading power is, how easy it is to make a reservation... blah, blah, blah. Finding out NONE of that is true! Looked at what we signed. We got a stupid biannual studio unit worth 50 points on RCI. Not only is it impossible to make a reservation at this place to use the thing, but 50 points on RCI is worth nothing. The only saving grace is that we did not transfer the deed on the timeshare we were trading for this worthless piece of crap. Now we are filing bankruptcy and are including the scam timeshare from Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach on it. I guess that is the only way to get out of it. BUNCH OF THIEVING LIARS!!!! I feel for any of you who went to the stupid presentation, got loaded up on drinks and the bs the unethical "salesperson" (I think robber is more appropriate) spewed at you. Avoid this place like the plague!!!

My husband i bought a time share at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach n May 2012. WE are so ashamed that we fell for this deceitful sales practice. Cyndi Johnson sales representative professional liar completely took us for fools so embarrassed. She told us the usual, we bought what we thought was a 1 bedroom for a high week for 18,000 less the cost of our time share that they were going to buy from us leaving us owing 5,000 something and payments for the next 3 years. Supposedly 4 bonus weeks and no maintenance fee unless we use the week. We however signed papaerwork for entirely something else. When we questined her on this she told us this was an old contract and that we had addendums stating the benefits she sold to us. When we got home I started looking over the papaerwork again and tried calling to see if we could use the bonus weeks like she said and basicaly got laughed at. Treid communicating with Cyndi Johnson and she told us we were confused she would have the addendums sent to us. Never to be heard from again. The whole presentation was a scam. We ended up with a syudio, 50 points bi annually weeks 1-50. When we asked why we ever give up what we had week 52, 2 bedrooms, annually she never responded. Of course they had no plans to sell our timeshare again another lie. If anyone has any advice please feel free to respond. We will not go down without a fight. Trying to get our money back and want out of this contract. Looking into PROFECO and will continue to haunt them Watch out for CYNDI JOHNSON, professinal liar and no conscience.

We signed a contract with Pueblo Benito Sunset Beach, Scott Zimmer was our sales person. The same day we signed, we decided we did not want to purchase the 300 points, Salesman Scott Zimmer said no problem, he would redo the contract for 200 points and give us the 200 points for our deposit amount. We athought that would be fine. Of course they would have to redo the contract and mail it to us. When we received the contract our the names were wrong and it was for the original 300 points and the original amount. We called, and emailed trying to get the contract corrected but no one returned our calls or emails. We asked for our deposit back, they sent us a new contract for 200 points with a purchase price more than double of what Scott Zimmer quoted us. We have been told by the Sales Manage Kurt Murat, that Scott would have never told us he could sell 200 points for the deposit amount of $9793 and we signed a contract for 300 points and we are obligated for the 300 points. They will not cancel the contract or return our deposit.
Over the last two months we sent several emails quoting the deposit amount as the total cost for the 200 points and no one ever stated it was not agreeable.
I am disputing this but I probably have no recourse. Just beware. Don't believe a word they say. I should have know better but after 5 hours I was worn down and thought Scott Zimmer would redo the contract.
