Legal name: Experiencias Xcaret Web S.A.P.I. de C.V., Experiencias Xcaret Hoteles, S.A.P.I de C.V, Naturama Tours Adventures S.A. de C.V. and Naturaprehispánica Ventura S.L (grupo Xcaret)

Common Complaints from Xcaret Members:

  • The seller convinces the customer to waive their five-day right to cancel, claiming that the membership they are purchasing is a special one-day-only offer.
  • The seller promises to sell the customer’s old timeshare so they can pay for the new one. In the end, the customer is referred to a resale company that doesn’t sell their old timeshare, leaving the customer stuck with two timeshares and the maintenance fees for both properties.
  • Difficulties in making a reservation.

Hotel Xcaret is gorgeous, but the experience isn’t as effortless as advertised. Reservations for activities fill quickly, and if you’re not constantly checking your phone, you miss out. It gave the whole stay a restless feeling, like we were always trying to keep up.
There were also moments when staff casually nudged us toward program explanations, even when we weren’t interested. It wasn’t hostile, just enough to add a sense of interruption.

  • Candice RomeroJanuary 30, 2026, 2:09 pm

Hotel Xcaret is visually stunning, but the structure of the experience feels rigid. Everything requires reservations, confirmations, and precise timing. By the second day, the planning obligations overshadowed the spontaneity of the trip.
Adding program presentations into an already tight schedule made things more draining. It’s a beautiful environment, but the constant coordination takes away from the relaxation you expect.

  • Andrea LozanoJanuary 28, 2026, 1:34 pm

El entorno es espectacular, pero todo está demasiado programado. La logística termina cansando.
Entre horarios y presentaciones, cuesta desconectarse realmente.

  • Miguel N.January 27, 2026, 12:03 pm

The setting is impressive, but the experience feels tightly scheduled. Everything requires planning, from transport to activities, which removes spontaneity from the trip.
Add in informational presentations, and the stay feels more structured than relaxing, despite the beautiful surroundings.

  • Lucía HernándezJanuary 22, 2026, 2:09 pm

El lugar es hermoso, pero todo está muy controlado. La logística cansa y las presentaciones interrumpen más de lo esperado.

  • Andrew MoralesJanuary 19, 2026, 1:30 pm

The scenery is incredible, but the experience feels tightly managed. Reservations, schedules, and transport all require strict planning. Add in program presentations, and the stay starts to feel more structured than relaxing.

  • Nathan RiveraJanuary 14, 2026, 3:15 pm

There’s no denying how beautiful the place is, but enjoying it requires a lot of coordination. Reservations, transport, and schedules feel tightly controlled. Once program presentations were added, the experience felt more structured than relaxing, which took away some of the magic.

  • Diego FonsecaJanuary 10, 2026, 1:01 pm

El hotel es impresionante visualmente, pero la logística es pesada. Todo requiere seguimiento y paciencia. Las charlas sobre programas especiales se repitieron varias veces y terminaron cansando.

  • Robert EllisJanuary 8, 2026, 3:58 pm

The place is beautiful, but managing the experience felt like work. Scheduling activities, transportation, and reservations required constant coordination. Once membership talks were added to the mix, it became harder to relax without interruptions or pressure creeping into the stay.
