Common Complaints from Xcaret Members:
- The seller convinces the customer to waive their five-day right to cancel, claiming that the membership they are purchasing is a special one-day-only offer.
- The seller promises to sell the customer’s old timeshare so they can pay for the new one. In the end, the customer is referred to a resale company that doesn’t sell their old timeshare, leaving the customer stuck with two timeshares and the maintenance fees for both properties.
- Difficulties in making a reservation.

Hotel Xcaret looks impressive, but the chaos behind the scenes ruins the experience. The parks are overcrowded, the transportation is disorganized, and getting simple information takes ages. We paid for an “all-inclusive luxury experience,” but it felt more like a tourist factory.
Hotel Xcaret has beautiful surroundings, but it’s completely overbooked and chaotic. The transportation between parks was disorganized, and we wasted hours waiting around. For the premium price, I expected better coordination and more honesty about capacity limits.
Hotel Xcaret looks amazing online, but the experience didn’t match the price tag. The parks were overcrowded, and the “all-fun inclusive” part turned into hours waiting in lines. It’s a beautiful place, but the organization and scheduling were a mess.
Hotel Xcaret is beautiful, but the management needs to handle the crowds better. Every activity required advance reservations, and without them, you were basically left with nothing to do. For the price we paid, it didn’t feel worth it.
Hotel Xcaret looks luxurious in ads, but in reality, we waited almost an hour just to get seated for dinner every night. The “all-inclusive” concept lost its shine when we couldn’t enjoy anything without waiting in line.
