Royal Elite Vacation Club complaints:
- Salesperson claims that the all-inclusive fee is per couple, but in reality it is per person per night. Clients can often book the vacation cheaper online without using their timeshare, than with booking their timeshare and paying the maintenance fees and all-inclusive fees.
- Claim that they can resell a previously owned timeshare for a profit and use that money to pay for the new membership at Royal Elite Vacation Club.
- Salesperson offers extra weeks to clients for rental purposes. They claim that the rental income makes the timeshare a good financial investment, and they can use the money in the first few years to pay off the membership.
- Salesperson claims that they can trade their weeks to RCI points, and use the points to pay for 100% of an airline ticket, when in reality RCI only allows for clients to use points for 33% of the cost of the ticket.

We also were scammed, we have a contract signed in 2008 from Royal Elite, which had many fraudulent promises including a return of a guaranteed . This was up last year and we have not seen a penny, definitely a scam wich stole $8,000 from us.
Hace como 15 dias compramos una membresia con Sandos pero he estado viendo muchos comentarios malos en internet y ya estoy asustado. No pagamos todo el dinero sólo dimos un adelanto, pero estoy proximo a enviar otro pagó, no me gustaría arriesgarme a perder más dinero, pero ya no estoy en los 5 días que comentan que tenemos para cancelar, que sería lo recomndable para hacer en mi caso?
Bought into the Royal Elite program and have had nothing but headaches-non-disclosure about all inclusive fees we were told 20per person per day now being told 110per person per day-plus other fees Also tryed renting it out since 2007 and nothing! Like the RCI portion would keep that but we need to get out of the Royalelite scam!!!
we were scammed by Royal Elite We told them that we wanted to cancel our contract since we could not afford to pay for Royal Elite timeshare without the money from the sale of our timeshares, but they refused to allow us to rescind our agreement.
nunca compren o vayan avacacionar a Royal Elite, cuando fuimos a Cancun nos vendieron un tiempo compartido, despues buscando en internet vimos los precios reales de las membresias y hablamos para exigirles y cancelar y se rehusan a darnos la cancelación, ademas de todo nunca nos mencionar que se tenía que pagar un mantenimiento el cual es excesivamente alto.
Hola, el año pasado en julio compramos una membresia de royal elite con sandos y como no nos cumplieron con lo prometido y tampoco nos enviaron la informacion y libros decidimos cancelar (antes de que llegara el 1er pago despues del enganche) y ahora despues de mas de 8 meses aparecio de esa empresa una persona que nos amenazo con enviar nuestro espediente al buro de credito si no pagamos ya que segun nos dice la cancelacion que le enviamos la persona que la recibio y ano trabaja con ellos y ahora tenemos que pagar para seguir siendo socios o de lo contrario buro de credito.. pueden creerlo??? ahora es nuestra culpa que su propio personal no de seguimiento a las cancelaciones...
Yo tengo todo al día y solicite la baja e igualmente me amenazan con lo mismo, o sigo pagando la membresia o mandan al buro la denuncia de que no cumpli con el contrato.
