RAINTREE VACATION CLUB Timeshare COMPLAINTS

Que tal quiero desaserme del molesto pago del tiempo compartido que me vendieros tengo una deuda por mantenimiento en Raintree,  Puerto Vallarta nunca e ido por falta de dinero. Los mantenimientos suben exorbitantemente cada año y me parece un robo, ademas el vendedor me dijo que no lo utilizaba no tenía que pagar, no se por que ahora quieren que pague sin que yo lo he utilizado.

We purchased a timeshare at Raintree back with the understanding that we were required to pay a yearly fee just when booking or exchanging weeks. For the last 6 years, we received bills from them but never received any mention of past due amounts, and since we never booked weeks we never payed any annual fee. Now they sent us a collection notice trying to collect all past due amounts and saying that we have to pay the fee regardless of usage.

I fell for a Raintree upgrade presentation in Mexico, paid $10,000 usd for 50% with all kinds of terms and perks and no written agreements because it was at christmas...so they said. They never paid the extras offered, and the upgrade was never initiated. Raintree ran me around for over a year, then cancelled the contract and kept the $10,000. I tried talking to more Raintree services people in Mexico and USA, who just said too bad.

We bought a Raintree timeshare in Cancun which is paid for however due to the yearly maintenance fee and special assessment fee we cannot afford it. We can find far better vacation packages including air fare just by searching online. I have tried to even give it back and just cancel it but they will not allow it. Has any one found success in unloading the time share?
 
 

Todas mis semanas de mantenimiento y mis mensualidades son pagadas siempre a tiempo, tengo problemas economicos y me estoy sintiendo muy presionado para seguir pagando la membresia que compre con Rantree Vacation Club no quiero afectar mi credito, pero tampoco deseo seguir pagando la membresía. Ya mande varios correos a Raintree Vacation Club y solo me dan vueltas al asunto, no me estan ayudando en lo absoluto y el tiempo sigue transcurriendo y  mientras mi dinero se va a algo que pienso cancelar. Necesito ayuda inmediata!

Adquiri una membresia con Raintree y pensando mejor las cosas me di cuenta que no es un buen trato. intente cancelar por medio de ellos, pero me han puesto demasiadas trabas y no me aceptan la cancelación. siempre he tenido muy buen historial crediticio y en estos momentos estoy pensando en comprar una casa así que necesito tener un buen historial para poder pedir mi prestamo.Me urge cancelar la membresia, par apoder seguir con mis planes, si alguien sabe como ayudarme, se los agradeceria mucho.

Compramos un tiempo compartido con raintreevacation, pero a la hora de vendernos nos ofrecieron cosas que no cumplieron, nos desanimaron bastante y no queremos seguir gastando dinero, ahora estamos más informados y sabermos que tener un tiempo compartido no es una buena idea y menos con raintree. Les pagamos aproximadamente $70 mil de enganche mas las mensualidades ademas de los mentados mantenimientos, puro quitarnos nuestro dinero en estos tiempos tan dificiles.

We purchased a Silver Raintree Discovery Trial Membership from Raintree Discovery Club. After reading these horrid articles about Raintree, however, I don't want anything to do with them. We just purchased yesterday. Can we cancel within the five days even though this is just a "trial memberhip" and we didn't sign up to purchase a timeshare? Thank you.

we were approached at the airport by a man who offered us tourist information and a free breakfast at a "Mexican owned hotel" to introduce us to the hotel. He never said it was a timeshare presentation. We did not realize this until after the next day when we looked at the paperwork he had given us,but there was no number or contact information on the paperwork so we had no way to call and cancel. We decided to go ahead and attend the breakfast and what was stated to be a 45 minute presentation. We were taken to the Raintree in Cancun and were there almost all day. Everytime we said no to our sales person, a manager would come over and add more promises. We were told we could rent our weeks without a problem--they stated they were always over 90% full--and the resort would pay us money for the weeks that we rented, so that we could trade weeks through one of the resort exchange companies and would actually make money by not using our weeks.

Quiero vender mi membresia de raintree y nadie me puede ayudar. No la uso y la tengo desde hace años. Y ellos dicen que no tienen departamentos que se encargen de rentar o vender las membresias.  Cuando yo compre mi membresia me dijeron que podia hacer buen dinero rentandolas y que ello sme podian ayudar, ahora que quiero hacerlos me estan negando los servicios. Soy una victima mas por parte de raintree.
