Royal Holiday does not have the best reputation among timeshare resorts. Most of their sales are conducted using high-pressure tactics, and a significant number of members feel they have been lied to or scammed. Many timeshare contracts are also misrepresented during the sales process.
One of the most common scams occurs at the time of purchase: a Royal Holiday salesperson will make verbal promises to get you to sign the contract. However, the contract clearly states that any verbal promises made by the sales associate are invalid unless they are explicitly included in the written agreement.
Royal Holiday promises excellent customer service to its members, but this only seems to apply when members call to make a payment. If you have questions or concerns about your membership, the associate will likely say they will send you the information via email—but that email never arrives. The most common response to any unhappy member is to suggest an upgrade, regardless of the issue. As a result, members often end up paying even more for a membership they were never satisfied with in the first place.
Booking with Royal Holiday presents another challenge. During the sales pitch, they promise you can travel anywhere, at any time. This is far from the truth. Your travel options depend entirely on the points you purchase, and unfortunately, they almost always sell you a small points package. By the time you realize you need more points, you're forced to upgrade and pay additional fees.
Most Royal Holiday sales are conducted outdoors or at locations other than their official sales offices. As a "courtesy," they allow you to purchase and sign the contract on the spot, with the salesperson briefly explaining the terms—often omitting important details. Some associates even send the documents to your home while you're still on vacation. By the time you return home and carefully read the contract, you realize it’s not what you thought it was—and worse, your recession period has already expired.
Royal Holiday sales associates may also tell you that you're making a great investment in real estate. This is another major lie. A timeshare is neither an investment nor real estate. You are simply leasing a hotel room for a set period once a year; you do not own the property. It is not an investment because there is no resale market or rental opportunity, meaning there is no potential for profit.

The Royal Holiday is VERY NICE ... it's the timeshare salespeople that are aggressive in their practices and you can't take everything they say as a guarantee or promise.
Hola pues yo compre esto en el hotel de park royal Ixtapa desde hace 3 años y me ah ido súper bien .! Fueron honestos en cuanto la anualidad se que debo pagarla cada año y hecho viajes que jamás pensé hacer hace una 2 días llegue de París y fue magnífico e inolvidable lo que viví. Una París con lluvia tan Romántico yo compre una membresia de 30000 Pts se lo recomiendo mucho

por poco caigo en su trampa ...mi sexto sentido y mi buen fuicio me alertaron de esta estafa internacional, lo que preocupa es que indecopi no hace nada por alertar o denunciar a estos estafadores y botarles a patadas a estos miserables de nuestro peru.

fuy victima de estos timadores son lo peor, que les puede pasar para vacacionar aunque no compre ninguna membresia pase una de las peores vacaciones de mi vida, si pueden deben de inconformarse y darlo a conoser en las redes sociales solo asi podremos hacer la diferencia en contra de estos estafadores. dan un servicio deprimente y despues ya no te dan la cara. he adquirido tontamente los servicios de Royal Holiday-comercializadora Travel ADvisori, por 30 mil punto, esto por que una familia allegada, cuenta con ello y a segun a ellas les ha funcionado, pero en lo que respecta a mi no ha sido asi, ya envie mi carta por correo certificado de cancelacion y devolucion de la cantidad que he pagado, mas depues de un mes recibi una canrta donde lejos de reconocer es amenzante ante mi credito, y me solicitan debo mantenerme ligada a ellos, lejos de que saben no han sido para nada eticos y profesionales.
quedo a sus ordenes y espera una respuesta con sus sugerencia y demas acciones a las que debo proceder.
Despues que te das cuenta que de nada sirve comprar esa "membresia", decides dejar de tirar mas dinero suspendiendo los pagos para las cuotas de mantenimiento, que ellos incrementan como se les antoja, vienen las llamadas amenazantes de que tienes que pagar obligadamente haste que se termine el contrato, que son unos 30 años, aunque no uses sus servicios. Ademas, te dicen que te meteran a Buro de Credito. Luego te marcan de una empresa de cobranza norteamericana llamada Monterey Financial Services (creo) y las amenazas y presiones se incrementan, pues te llaman en cualquier hora del dia, es decir, te la hacen insoportable mediante terrorismo sicologico.
Los ignoras y finalmente, solo te roban el dinero que te sacaron con la compra de la membresia...
Por favor, no caigan en el engaño.
Eso es solo el principio. Cuando decides vender la membresia po lo inutil que es, nadie te la comprara porque muchos saben que es un fraude. Luego decides no pagar la cuota de mantenimiento, recibes amenazas de que te cobraran a la fuerza por todods los años que dura tu membresia, que te meteran a buro de credito, te marcan de una empresa de cobros establecida en EU y lo hacen con rudeza intimidatoria. Lo mejor es mandarlos a la porra, ignorar sus llamadas, que no prospera el asunto del buro de credito y por ultimo, resignarte a perder todo el dinero que te sacaron tramposamente del bolsillo.
