Royal Holiday does not have the best reputation among timeshare resorts. Most of their sales are conducted using high-pressure tactics, and a significant number of members feel they have been lied to or scammed. Many timeshare contracts are also misrepresented during the sales process.
One of the most common scams occurs at the time of purchase: a Royal Holiday salesperson will make verbal promises to get you to sign the contract. However, the contract clearly states that any verbal promises made by the sales associate are invalid unless they are explicitly included in the written agreement.
Royal Holiday promises excellent customer service to its members, but this only seems to apply when members call to make a payment. If you have questions or concerns about your membership, the associate will likely say they will send you the information via email—but that email never arrives. The most common response to any unhappy member is to suggest an upgrade, regardless of the issue. As a result, members often end up paying even more for a membership they were never satisfied with in the first place.
Booking with Royal Holiday presents another challenge. During the sales pitch, they promise you can travel anywhere, at any time. This is far from the truth. Your travel options depend entirely on the points you purchase, and unfortunately, they almost always sell you a small points package. By the time you realize you need more points, you're forced to upgrade and pay additional fees.
Most Royal Holiday sales are conducted outdoors or at locations other than their official sales offices. As a "courtesy," they allow you to purchase and sign the contract on the spot, with the salesperson briefly explaining the terms—often omitting important details. Some associates even send the documents to your home while you're still on vacation. By the time you return home and carefully read the contract, you realize it’s not what you thought it was—and worse, your recession period has already expired.
Royal Holiday sales associates may also tell you that you're making a great investment in real estate. This is another major lie. A timeshare is neither an investment nor real estate. You are simply leasing a hotel room for a set period once a year; you do not own the property. It is not an investment because there is no resale market or rental opportunity, meaning there is no potential for profit.

Tristemente estoy leyendo todos estos comentarios muy tarde, no entiendo porque no los han sancionado legalmente, si todos nosotros estamos en internet quejándonos porque la justicia no hace algo? No compren en Royal Park, son unos ladrones, sinvergüenzas
Realmente es impresionante que sigan operando empresas fraudulentas como Royal Holiday, cuando ha habido tantos afectados y que hemos denunciado, a veces en los medios y otros ante las autoridades. Poniendo mi granito de arena e informando a la gente de estos estafadores
Eviten comprar con Royal Holiday, es parte de Grand Park Royal o toda esa organización, tienen prácticas deshonestas. Son estafadores y están muy bien respaldados jurídicamente, por si alguien cae, no logras deshacerte de ellos y les tienes que pagar.
Mejor investiguen costos en otros hoteles, estoy seguro que encuentran mejores precios , sin estar amarrados a un contrato por treinta años
Quiero cancelar un paquete de viaje porque la venta fue muy forzada, no nos dieron tiempo para procesarlo y nos dijeron mentiras. Nos llevaron a otro hotel y la señal para el celular era mala y no podíamos revisar internet para localizar los malos comentarios del error que estábamos cometiendo

Desde el 12 de febrero que acudí a sus oficinas y que fui atendido por Ma. de Lourdes Suarez, a quien le entregué un escrito dirigido a GRUPO COSTAMEX S.A. DE C.V., en el que solicito la incorporación de mis créditos vacacionales de Villa Bejar que fue la dio inicio a la operación con la cual se realizó la primera compra con ustedes, mi numero de socio es 271227.
El punto es que después de un mes me ha sido imposible tener contacto con la Srita Suarez, y me parece de muy mal gusto que me traten asi despues de tantos años mismos en los que nunca he tenido un adeudo con ustedes por mora; me es urgente conocer la respuesta a mi escrito.

Hola, agradeceré una asesoría para cancelar membresía con Royal Holiday, no puedo seguir pagando, no he podido pagar la anualidad no sabía que iniciaba en enero siendo que la firme a mediados de junio, dicen que soy pensionado y no es correcto, no estoy laburando. Gracias
Buenas Tardes, solicito la asesoria para la Cancelacion de un contrato que firma con Royal Holiday la 1er semana de Octubre 2023, para una compra de un paquete de 15 mil puntos para usarme en un periodo de 3 años con un costo de 64 mil pesos, donde firme un pagare y di un anticipo de 2 mil pesos y 14 mil pesos a pagar este mes de Octubre y 12 mensualidades de 4 mil pesos pagar a partir de Dic 2023, el dia de hoy les avise que deseo la cancelacion del paquete, debido a varios malos comentarios que veo en las redes y la inseguridad que me da esta empresa. Firme por presion que se me dio en la estadia vacacional que tenia con mi familia en el hotel Grand Princess Riviera Maya.
