Royal Holiday does not have the best reputation among timeshare resorts. Most of their sales are conducted using high-pressure tactics, and a significant number of members feel they have been lied to or scammed. Many timeshare contracts are also misrepresented during the sales process.
One of the most common scams occurs at the time of purchase: a Royal Holiday salesperson will make verbal promises to get you to sign the contract. However, the contract clearly states that any verbal promises made by the sales associate are invalid unless they are explicitly included in the written agreement.
Royal Holiday promises excellent customer service to its members, but this only seems to apply when members call to make a payment. If you have questions or concerns about your membership, the associate will likely say they will send you the information via email—but that email never arrives. The most common response to any unhappy member is to suggest an upgrade, regardless of the issue. As a result, members often end up paying even more for a membership they were never satisfied with in the first place.
Booking with Royal Holiday presents another challenge. During the sales pitch, they promise you can travel anywhere, at any time. This is far from the truth. Your travel options depend entirely on the points you purchase, and unfortunately, they almost always sell you a small points package. By the time you realize you need more points, you're forced to upgrade and pay additional fees.
Most Royal Holiday sales are conducted outdoors or at locations other than their official sales offices. As a "courtesy," they allow you to purchase and sign the contract on the spot, with the salesperson briefly explaining the terms—often omitting important details. Some associates even send the documents to your home while you're still on vacation. By the time you return home and carefully read the contract, you realize it’s not what you thought it was—and worse, your recession period has already expired.
Royal Holiday sales associates may also tell you that you're making a great investment in real estate. This is another major lie. A timeshare is neither an investment nor real estate. You are simply leasing a hotel room for a set period once a year; you do not own the property. It is not an investment because there is no resale market or rental opportunity, meaning there is no potential for profit.

Buenas tardes, quiero hacer la cancelación de una membresía de Park Royal que contratamos en el hotel Grand Park Royal Playa del Carmen, México, quisiera saber cual es el costo de sus servicios por este tramite ya que no estoy interesada en seguir con la membresía que tenemos con ellos

Solo me interesa Saber si hay alguien que sepa cómo proceder a cancelar el contrato que se firmo, que hagan un comentario por favor. porque se cobran directamente de la tarjeta el pago de ascenso de membresía de plata a oro y están cobrando anualidad este 2020 pero durante este año informaron que por la pandemia de COVID se suspendían las vacaciones y ahora dicen que los 30,000 puntos ya pagados se pasen para el próximo año pero que pague otros 30,000 del 2021, si las autoridades en Mexico están pidiendo que nos quedemos en casa, no podemos salir de vacaciones, pero si están cobrando anualidad eso es un abuso.
Cancelación de contrato de Royal Holiday, ya no tengo solvencia a pagar por la Pandemia.
Deseo cancelar mi contacto con Royal Holiday, por los cobros abusivos y el hecho de que nunca he recibido ningún servicio de su parte, por falta de disponibilidad, altos costos adicionales, all inclusive prácticamente obligatorio.

Hola! Me estafaron a mi tambien! pague la primer parte y no puedo hacer la cancelacion del contrato. Alguien pudo cancelar el contrato?? me podria avisar a [E-mail] Ya llevo meses desde que comenzo la cuarentena por el covid queriendo dar de baja el servicio y no hay forma. Por el momento no sigo pagando mas.

solicito ayuda para cancelar mi contrato tengo 3 años con royal holiday, la cuota de mantenimiento es muy alta y es un fraude el rentar los puntos ya que hay que pagar 300 dólares para tener derecho a rentar los puntos y solo pagan ellos por renta 900 dólares; quiero rescindir el contrato los pagos a fin de año son demasiado.
Somos miembros desde enero 2006 en Punta Cana. Hemos querido vender la membrecia pero nada! En Ixtapa, en el 2016 nos dijieron Lo mismo: augmente los puntos y sera mas facil venderla. Harley Gonzalez Becerra fue las que nos convencio de aumentar a 30 000, y aqui estamos! Nada de nada! Son unes lacras!
