What happens if you default on a timeshare?
I was scammed into buying a timeshare. I decided not to pay anymore the maintenance fees, I would like to know if I can be send to collections.

If you don´t pay for the remained balance or maintenance fees of a timeshare, the timeshare company can send you to collections and affect your credit score, they know that having a good credit record is what we look for and that´s the way they force people to pay them
