Timeshare companies are known for using unethical tactics to sell their vacation memberships.

Attractive gifts are usually offered to vacationers in order to make them assist a timeshare presentation.

Every year, thousands of people around the world become victims of one of the biggest travel frauds that has ever existed: The timeshare scam.

Getting rid of a timeshare is not an easy task, in fact, it could be almost impossible.

Desperate to give away their properties, many timeshare owners become an easy targets for scammers.

Timeshare Relief is one of the better-known companies that claim to give away your timeshare successfully, but is it a trustworthy company? We invite you to read this article to find out the answer to this question.

Timeshare Exit Companies

With a market full of defrauded timeshare owners, there are many timeshare exit companies that claim to get you out of your contract.

This could be great news for the people who have been scammed with the purchase of fractional ownership if it weren’t for the fact that most of these companies are just extensions of the original scam.

Before hiring the services of a timeshare exit company, we highly recommend:

  • Do not pay any upfront fees in an effort to get rid of your timeshare
  • Do some internet research on the company that will assist you with your timeshare issue
  • Beware of unsolicited phone calls from companies claiming to have a solution for you to get rid of your timeshare
  • Avoid companies using 900 numbers, these types of numbers are often associated with fraud cases

Hello, for own experience timeshare relief is not a good option at all , like this article says , timeshare relief dont accomplish what they promise , i called them and they told me that i need to pay the upfront fees ( a insane quantity) to keep moving forward , for me seems like a scam.

Well , i ve tried many exit timeshare companies , but no company helped us with the task , so for own experience getting involved with the timeshare scheme is very risky , maybe is very easy to acquire one but to rescind one is not that easy , could be the most difficult thing to ever do, just stay sharp.

don't believe anything that they're going to tell you, they're the worst liars ever!!

the problem with timeshares is that they want you to keep paying forever, and have collections people who lie about the rights and responsibilities.

if timeshares hires collections agents, they should be branded as just as disreputable as the collections agents.

If they want to have supporters, they need a clear plan for those who no longer want the week.

I do work in finance and it’s frustrating how they are able to dupe people who aren’t up to par on the “time value of money” concept. One thing I have struggled with is getting a deal to a Cancun AI resort on points. Any tips/recommendations for Cancun?

Thanks so much for this! I was already a little bit leary of these, but you have convinced me!

It is now over 3 YEARS since I contracted with Timeshare Relief to transfer my properties and they are still not complete and nobody will call back or provide answers to questions. I call and wait on hold to finally speak with a customer rep who tells me that my transfer is in the "final stage" -- yet when I call Wyndham, they state that they haven't received any documents at all. When I question the customer rep, they transfer me to a voice mailbox with no name, no number and nobody ever returns my phone calls.
