Vidanta is a luxury destination club that offers the finest and most exclusive resorts in Mexico. But not everything is good.

Vidanta Timeshare, in any of its destinations, creates “perfect” atmospheres to lure prospects into unnecessary timeshare purchases and into becoming Vidanta Timeshare scam victims.

These luxury clubs have the facility to convert a timeshare into an attractive Vidanta membership. So the question here is: Why are Vidanta membership costs hidden? Or, better said, why are Vidanta Timeshare costs not definitive?

These questions can be easily answered by just taking a look on the web and typing: Vidanta timeshare reviews.

Many owners here take the opportunity to express their Vidanta reviews, if not in all forums about Vidanta timeshare.

These people talk about how they got scammed over and over again, not only from one specific resort, but from different exclusive resorts belonging to Vidanta dispersed throughout the most touristic cities in Mexico.

Vidanta Timeshare: The Company

As we mentioned before, Vidanta Vacations (Vida Vacations) has timeshare resorts in Vidanta Cancun, Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta, Nuevo Vallarta, Mazatlan, Los Cabos and Puerto Peñasco.

Its legal name is Comercializadora y Servicio de Turismo S.A. de C.C.; Desarrollo Marina Vallarta S.A.

Vidanta Vacation Club also works with resort collections like Summit Opportunities, LLC, Houston, TX. And with timeshare rental companies such as Global Golf Connections, Continental Connections, Global Marketing Systems, Alliance Integrated Marketing Systems (AIMS), My Vacation Brokers, Imperial Property Management, Destinations International, and Embassy Vacation Pro.

Once a Vidanta owner can’t keep up with the payments of their Vidanta timeshare, they are sent to any of the collections mentioned in order to keep receiving an amount of money, which will make your inner peace disappear and may also make you start asking yourself “How do I sell my vidanta timeshare?”.

And sometimes, magically, a call from a Vidanta timeshare resale company reaches you, offering an attractive proposal that will “help you”, but it will be nothing but one more Vidanta scam.

Below is a clear example of how these fraudulent companies operate:

How a timeshare resale scam works

Vidanta Timeshare Buy Back

It is very common to think that it is possible to resell, rent or even that Vidanta will buy back your timeshare from Vidanta, yet the Vidanta cancellation policy department will convince you that renting or selling vidanta timeshares are the only and best options, and will also “accommodate changes” if necessary, but that canceling your Vidanta timeshare is not a viable option, and of course how is that going to happen if Vidanta scams are associated with these fraudulent Vidanta resale companies

Vidanta timeshare buyback is one of the first promises made by the person in charge of selling you a Vidanta membership, but reviews of Vidanta timeshare overburden the web with scam complaints, of which the most common one is from owners who fell for the lie of “Vidanta timeshare buyback”.

Vidanta sales department is an expert when it comes to situating a Vidanta timeshare for sale, which means Vidanta timeshare will promise anything in order to carry out their sale.

As soon as you Google up “Vidanta timeshare scam,” you’ll find a wide range of sites that warn about this fraudulent operation, just as shown beneath.

Vidanta Timeshare - Complaints and Reviews

As mentioned before, there exist a wide amount of forums that talk about Vidanta reviews and Vidanta timeshare reviews, which means that they are not only referring to Vidanta’s customer service, which, to be honest, is pretty good, as long as a Vidanta owner doesn’t request a Vidanta timeshare cancellation.

Once an owner requests a Vidanta timeshare cancellation, the sales department becomes deaf, and its only response is to lead the owner from one department to another, making everything more tedious.

Vidanta owners forums have emphasized in Vidanta timeshare reviews that the only thing Vidanta vacations will do is convince you to acquire a better membership that will supposedly benefit you, and you will never be willing to cancel the timeshare membership.

The following is a list of the most common complaints and reviews about Vidanta Timeshare:

  1. You are basically kidnapped at the airport to go to a timeshare presentation, in which they will allure you with the magnificent Vidanta member services they possess.
  2. The timeshare salespeople tell you that the presentation will be just to show you the property and familiarize you with the resort, but that is a lie. It is a full-on timeshare presentation, and you can be there for 2 hours.
  3. They tell you that at any time you can walk away from your financing because it was done in Mexico, and it does not affect your credit report.
  4. When you have already signed with them, and finally take the time to read your contract, you realize that most of the promises they made at the timeshare presentations are not in the timeshare agreement.
  5. When you finally get to contact the company by telephone and try to cancel the timeshare contract within the 5 days given to rescind the contract, you do it, but with no success.
  6. A Vidanta timeshare salesperson tells you that if you have a timeshare, Vidanta will let you rent your timeshare anytime you want, but this is a lie.
  7. Vidanta sales representatives also offer a trade-In, persuading the buyer to believe that the resort is going to take their other timeshare and sell it for them, and even deducting the cost of their new timeshare with Vidanta, but at the end, you end up owning two timeshares.
  8. Timeshare salespeople don’t tell purchasers that they have five days to cancel the timeshare contract.
  9. Timeshare maintenance fees are too high and increase every year, when supposedly the Vidanta membership cost is flat, or at least that’s what they mention in their sales pitch.
  10. They sell their timeshare as an investment, but a timeshare is never a good investment.

Since many years ago until nowadays, there have been warnings on the web about what these companies lie about, and how they convince consumers about not being able to ever get out of their timeshare contract (a total lie). Doing a good research can help a lot.

There are many ways to browse to find this type of information, just as shown ahead:

Vidanta - How to Make Complaints?

You might wonder if it’s important to make Vidanta complaints, and well, after knowing that there are a lot of Vidanta timeshare reviews forums that are very specific on their experiences with this company, we can conclude that Vidanta reviews are important.

With Vidanta reviews, people can give themselves an idea of what to do or not to do regardless of whether they are purchasing a timeshare or are already a timeshare owner, and so sharing an experience of any kind with a Vidanta timeshare can be helpful for the people who like to go on vacation and enjoy their time.

In reliable forums, you can find Vidanta timeshare reviews regarding maintenance fees, sales presentations, upgrading membership, salespeople, and resale or rental timeshare companies, which all turn out to be total scams

If this misfortune ever happens in your life or if it has already happened, one of the most powerful resources you have at your fingertips is expressing your thoughts, opinions, or experiences with the fraudulent company in a review forum.

Below is a clear example of how some events really occurred during a consumer's timeshare ownership. This type of review will help many people open their eyes and speak up.

How to complaints?

Vidanta Timeshare – How to Get Out?

If you got into a timeshare in any resort of Vidanta Vacations, there are few options that you can consider, like timeshare resale, timeshare rental, timeshare donation or timeshare transfer, Vidanta Lawsuit.

But, without doubt, the timeshare cancellation is the best solution to get out of your timeshare contract.

If you properly cancel your timeshare agreement with whichever of the Vidanta Timeshare resorts you choose, you will not have more strings attached to them.

Vidanta timeshare cancellation is not an easy process. It requires lots of time and negotiations with the timeshare resort.

Gracias!

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!! We were captured in WALMART in Cancun for our daughter's wedding. We had stayed at their PVR Grand Bliss location September of 2016. We booked through RCI as the fees were paid by them and it was a promotional offer. Suffice it to say, we absolutely loved the resort. We felt like it was one of our best vacations ever. The resort was beautiful and clean, and the units were very spacious. We had great food and wen on great excursions! But then...... we were invited to go see the new sister resort in Riviera Maya. My husband was excited and we thought this could be another place to stay on our next vacation. Well after 8+ hours and a lot of fast talking, we were coerced into trading in our timeshare we already owned "outright" and taking their program. We were repeated told that this would save us money and we would no longer have to pay Maintenance Fees. They drilled this into our head. Our salesman was way to good. They told us that they could see how much we traveled and that we were given their strongest salesman to help us see the value in going with them. Well, once we finally agreed and were given multiple weeks to use at our leisure, they began talking faster and papers were being thrown at us to initial and sign along with Tequila! We were told to not leave our folder out at the resort we were staying at because the resort would get jealous and say bad things about them. Once we arrive back home 2 days later, we called the saleman (who willingly gave us his cell number and email and said that if we had any problems or reservations to call him directly). Well of course he did not answer his cell or email. We called the Main Vida number and were told that we had to wait until we were in their system for anyone to look at our account and that our final paperwork would be in the mail. Then the credit card bills began to come. (Let me go back;) As we were discussing dollars and cents they explained about "no money down" and they ran my husband's credit. They kept coming back and forth until they eventually said that they needed my credit information too. Well on our cellphones, we got texts from the credit card companies saying "PENDING", but when we returned home, the PENDING changed to a CHARGE. Credit card companies sent monies directly to Vadanta/Vida.

We continued to call and email and after a week or 2 I received a call from someone saying they were our "person" to handle all of our travel and contract concerns. Well I began asking question about the inner workings of this vacation plan. I was told that I really didn't OWN anything and what I had just purchased was a Vacation PROGRAM! WHAT?!?!?!?!? I was told that nothing was free and even after being expected to pay over $12k and hand over our existing timeshare values at $16k they expected us to pay $900+ to even use a week at one of their resorts!!!!! We said heck NO!

We ended up sending certified letters to Mexico and eventually having to pay money to get out of the contract. Fast-forward to today........ This company cancelled our contract months ago, never sent anything in writing, but is refusing to return the money to the credit card companies!!!! As of today; January 22, 2018 my husband and I are still emailing back and forth to get the monies back. We have been told that they are not required by Mexico law to return any monies after 5 days of the original contract. VACATIONER BEWARE!!!!! Do not buy from this company/program unless you have money to blow! We are so disgusted because we really loved this resort!

Was there Nov 25 - Dec 1st. Yes, the resort was beautiful and yes, the 1hr timeshare presentation (that was 5.5hrs) was full of lies and very smarmy sales people. Aryana; Denise; Patricia; and Ibrahim are the names I can remember. It spanded 5 locations with 5 different people. It was so unreal that I have pitched my experience to 20/20. Read the reviews and attend NO presentation. They even put a charge on our room as a 'voluntary' donation to a school which I had them remove. Imagine if I had not checked. Run people!!!

NO COMPREN NO COMPREN. NO PUEDES CANCELAR, EL RESORT ES MALO Y TE ENGAÑAN Y LUEGO YA NO PUEDES SALIR. NO ENTIENDO PORQUE LAS LEGISLACIONES PERMITEN ESTE TIPO DE EMPRESAS FRAUDULENTAS PERO LEGALES, PORQUE YA NO PUEDES HACER NADA.

We purchased a time share at Vidanta Nuevo resort because of several promises made by the sales manager at the resort. When we tried to make a reservation that they had promised we could have any time we wanted they refused to honor the reservation and the airfare they told us they would provide free for two people had more fees than if we just paid for the tickets.
I attempted to get them to give our money back and they just kept pushing us off to someone else and then quit responding at all.
Never do business with these people they will lie about anything and then tell you your only option is to sue in Mexico.

I'm Brazilian and when I arrived at the Cancun airport I denied several people until a soft-spoken lady approached me saying she had a free map of the city. I paid US $ 40.00 to go watch the vidanta, we left and went to America Rental Car, (another fraud). Had rented the car and paid via internet in Brazil, arriving at the car rental company, did not recognize Mastercard insurance. One girl reported that I was supposed to pay US $ 350.00 for a basic plan and I would get the car, and she gave me a ticket with US $ 100.00 + US $ 40.00 that I had paid. The rest of the story is also reported to previous stories, about vidanta CANCUN JOYA. From the first word, I realized that it looked a lot like a blow that exists in Brazil called PIRAMEDE. I do not blame who bought it, because the sellers are very convinced, but I always had in my mind. "THERE IS NO FREE SOUP"

VIDANTA RIVERIA MAYA is a SCAM!!! I went to Cancun and while at the car rental agency was told I could receive discounted excursion tickets if I attended a short presentation for a new and start up company. I figured it could not hurt and at the same time save me several hundred dollars in excursion tickets. Long story short, stay away from anything in Mexico that is to good to be true. In an overview, my wife and I were bussed to a resort at least one hour from where we staying in Cancun. Once there, we were provided breakfast and then taken around the resort. It was around this time that I figured that I had been tricked into attending a timeshare presentation. These people do not take no for an answer, and without transportation out of the resort we were stuck there for the entire day. Being in a foreign country, I truly felt like we were being held hostage. It was a waste of an entire day of our vacation. Do yourself a favor and pay for your own breakfast and seek out a reputable company to sell you excursion tickets without any strings attached.

We were captured at the airport by a smooth talker.Like a lot of other people we agreed to a 1hr tour. They promised free breakfast transportation etc.and free dinner tickets.Long story short version we were there 4 hrs.went from a $79,000 deal down to $4,900.That convinced me that this was a scam of the worst kind.My advice at the airport don't talk to any of these vultures. They are sorry low life SOBS all of them.Glad I got the he'll out of Vindata without buying anything.
