Que tal . nosotros compramos hace unos meses un tiempo compartido con mayan palace, la verdad es que el hotel es bonito y nos convencieron, el problema que tenemos actualmente es que queremos agendar para usarlo, y de las fechas que queremos no estan disponibles, cosa que durante la presentacion de tiempo compartido nos dijeron que no seria asi, nosotros ya estamos viendo mejor la opcion de cancelar.
´Por lo que he leido, mayan palace es de lo peor que hay, las membresias estan lejos de ser lo mejor de lo mejor, que asi fue como nos la vendieron, estamos teniendo muchos problemas con el costo de las cuotas de mantenimiento, sinceramente estamos pagando mucho por tan poco...las instalaciones no eran las que nos prometieron en la presentacion.
my problem is the use fees we were quoted are entirely wrong. I was quoted 585. user fee for 2 bed unit at mayan Palace and 1050 for the Grand mayan. Now whe i tried to book it is 1250. for the Mayan Palace and 1400 for the Grand Mayan. no where near the 585. quoted. Im going to contact Mexican authorities as stated in a few posts up.
I was scammed a few years ago by the mayan palace in cancun. I underwent the same grill and tactics you explained. I may be the first to say this... but maybe we should all get together and sue the company. with such false information and representation i'm sure we could sue the pants right off those people. I live in a very small town, so i really don't have access to a a really good lawyer, but I would surely add my name to any civil suit brought against these people... they need to be taught a lesson - lies and deception towards american citizens is simply not acceptable!
Im done with this, i lost a lot of money with this resort they just are looking to get all your money with no remorse , dont get caught people and stay away from mayan hotel .
They lied to me verbally and in writing. I forwarded the information to Mayan Palace asking for the refund of my money due to fraud but they replied that if it is not on the contract they are not responsible. It is incredible the lack of interest that Mayan Palace has about his own reputation and the human quality of its sales staff.

I just got back from vacation from cancun and realized I fell for there lies. I'm sick to my stomach thinking how can I get out of this. I have read the similar situation of what some people have done. I can't wait until tomorrow to get thing going. But yes I purchased the grand Mayan two weeks that I can't use because I was told I had to rent them for five years. TWhen I got home for vacation, I noticed I got no calls, no emails. Was only left with credit charges of $18,000. So I panic. Called everywhere but it seems that I'm not getting any real answers. Now I will place complaint with profeco in Mexico. If anyone can help me w more info on what I need to do to cancel w these people. Please guide me :(
