Beware of Real Club in Playa del Carmen. We've had a contract with them.. they have chosen to not honor their contract!!!! Beware...just because you have it in writing does not make it so in Mexico!!!!!!!!!!!!, LOVE the resort, hate the company behind it!!!!! Don't buy there, you'll be Sooo sorry!!!!!!!
our daughter bought a Real Club time share and we helped her use it a few times. Times changed and they found they needed to get rid of it because the maintenance fees are too high, biggest mistake in our lives. We are now in the senior citizen bracket and would like to divest outselves of it. Tried to sell it back, they don't want it, tried to sell it nobody wants it, we have advised our kids to not accept it when we pass on.
the guys that sell the timeshares are the first persons that disappear, in nowdays i dont have any clue of that person that sold me my timeshare, by the way we are not such a fool persons so we can assume that those people the only thing that really want is to sell and then get their money, dangerous business is to get a timeshare, actually im very dissapointed..
NEVER BUY A TIMESHARE, unless you have the money to throw away. It will cost you more to buy a timeshare and maintenance fee than to rent a hotel room or a full ownership of a condo.
NEVER buy a timeshare with Real Club. It's like buying options that may or may not apply when and where you want to use them.
I bought one, the worst decission ever.
Timeshare are not an investment in anything other than future vacations. While there is much that I feel needs to change in the marketing and sales methodology regularly used by some in the industry, my advice to consumers is really simple; f you either haven't done any timeshare/vacation homework, or have done homework and feel that timeshares are not for you, then stay away from the sales presentations. You should value your precious vacation time more than this.
