Timeshare presentations are super scammy, I did get a free dinner at Sunset restaurant out of the presentation though. Going to presentations (even though a waste of time) can get you free stuff, so I would do it again but I would NEVER buy. As soon as you feel unconfortable you must leave.

I still have 3 years left to pay the mortgage but the fees are now around $600 a year. I am a Sunset Group timeshare owner. As such, I own nothing but debt and ongoing "maintenance" fees which do not correlate with this property. I want to get rid.
I just returned from Playa del Carmen and purchased a very expensive timeshare agreement with the Sunset Group in Playa del Carmen. the main problem of this resort is that something that they cant bring, all those sales people are experts to convice you , offering some meal or breakfast for free , i can say that a timeshare is NOT a good option , could be the worst investment you can ever do , the timeshare people only want your money and their commision, dont matter how they want you in, and many other tricky stuff, just avoid timeshare presentations.
