Really, I speak for my experiece, timeshares are not a good purchase. First, they are very expensive, and after the purchase price you still have to pay annual fees and maintenance fees which increase every year. I think that is cheaper travel yourself on your own than buying a timeshare.
We have had a timeshare for 2 years and we still haven't gotten the chance to use it. I decided to stop making the payments because the fees are so high, but the problem is that we want to buy a house and I don't know if this situation will afect my credit score. What is better to do?
I bought a timeshare in 2007 and have always paid the timeshare maintenance fees on time. At the sales pitch, I was told that our timeshare unit could be resold easily, but now I know that is a lie! I cannot affor the timeshare fees anymore and I just stopped paying them, but last month the collection has started to call. What should I do?
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!
I got this timeshare when I was young and stupid... I did not know any better...
They lied!!! They do not live up to what they say... They should not be allowed in business for the dishonesty and poor service.
Plus I can not afford the payments anymore. The raisng dollar is affecting the economy very bad.
I would appreciate any help you can give me!!!!
We are trying to buy a house and this is seriously destroying our credit, I can no longer afford the maintennce fees that increase every year. We need to get out, sell, something. I haven’t found any answers. The timeshare is top notch, never used, and I am out of a job with school loans due.
I would stay away from timeshares all together… not worth the risks. If you are asking basic questions like this, you need to do a lot more research before thinking about purchasing one.
I agree 100% on all that was described above. I recently went to a presentation while vacationing. It's a very bad idea to buy this timeshare and if they noticed that you are not being convinced they pretty much insult you and kick you out!! We were shocked! ....and the "gifts" are a scam too...you end up paying more in "processing fees".
