Was scammed into buying into the Mayan Palace. Realized in two days and went back to cancel. They agreed to give me my money back and to cancel the contract. Was then conned into buying into the Grand Paradise Club for which they transferred my initial deposit and took another $2500 from me. Can I get my deposit back from this Club?

I purchased a Grand Paradise Club Platinum membership from the Grand Mayan in Playa Del Carmen on Monday . Upon further research I have found that what was claimed by the sales people is not necessarilly true. I only found out about the law stating that I only have 5 days to rescind There is nothing written in the contract about rescinding the offer nor was anything verbally said. Is there any way to get out of this contract? Or from your experience is this actually legitemate? I have only been able to find negative feedback and have not yet received my packet with the password for searching vacations.
