EL CID RESORTS Timeshare COMPLAINTS

We own a timeshare that we absolutely love but it is now cheaper to rent at the property than it is to pay our maintenance for the same two-week stay!

Could one of you please contact us? I believe we got scammed also by El Cid Resort!!

Well, I can ditto every bad thing that has ever been said about an El Cid timeshare. However, we feel very fortunate that we got out from underneath the pack of lies we purchased. We contacted an attorney, and after a little time and some well spent money, we are under no obligation anymore and we no longer have an El Cid Timeshare!! No matter what time of day it is, that's something that is worth celebrating. Don't give up!!! Get out!!!!!!!! And don't fall for Frank Fallon as your salesperson! Lies, lies, lies.........Blessed that we never have to go there again. Perhaps we may wander through however and gloat just a little!

how many timeshares can I sell back?

la verdad tambein decepcionado y molesto por esto,, cuando me vendieron bueno practicamente obligan a firmar algo que te pintan totalmente diferente,, les dije que tenia tarjeta banamex, ahora tengo que andar pagando mantto en bancomer con tipo de cambio de banamex el dollar,, o bueno mas porque es un tipo cambio de la empresa ,, siempre que voy a los bancos antes referidos me dicen que es menos a lo que me dicen en el cid,,, a porque afuerza a que hablarles paq te digan cuando vas pagar,, como si uno no tuviera que hacer supestamente de hiban a mejorar tu calidad de vida,, ahora se estresa uno mas, y cuando quieres vacacionar que solo tienen tal y tal habitacion, y los puntos famosos que segun a mi eran para dos periodos al año( 150000) ,, ahora queise ir,,, dijeron que solo una semana en una habitacion basica y 4 personas maximo,, me salio mas barato ir en mi camioneta a divertirme por mi cuenta que en el tan mentado club... les di mas de 70000 hace un año como aelanto un año pagano mantto y mensualidad casi de 5000, y con lo que salen,,

I was lured in with false promises and claims of benefits that I would receive that was TOTAL LIES! The salesperson LIED. I was blocked from using my account for 5 months which carried over into a new year and I lost my points for that year. I was told when I bought into the program that I could "bank" my points, carrying them from year to year. LIES. When I attempted to do so on the second year, I was told it could only be done for ONE year. I wish I could get my money back! I am so disappointed in the BS program. Every time I turn around, it is all another lie. I was told my membership was all inclusive at El Cid ... when I tried to reserve, I was told it is an additional fee! I will stop now because I am getting mad all over again.

I have a family member with a timeshare and seems to like it, but it isn't for me either.

Save your money. If you can, get out of the timeshare trap. Whatever you do, don't let them upsell you for better properties/availabilities etc. Despite the compelling pitch, timeshares are for suckers.

We bought a timeshare for 10 weeks for over 2, 000 but we can't get a reservation or get a hold of anyone. can you help me?

I purchased a Time Share with El Cid Resort. I then proceeded to cancel while in Mexico. I was informed I couldn't. This went back and forth for some time with no resolution. I wrote letters, made phone calls and ended up very frustrated. I felt I had exhausted my options.
