Royal Elite Vacation Club complaints:
- Salesperson claims that the all-inclusive fee is per couple, but in reality it is per person per night. Clients can often book the vacation cheaper online without using their timeshare, than with booking their timeshare and paying the maintenance fees and all-inclusive fees.
- Claim that they can resell a previously owned timeshare for a profit and use that money to pay for the new membership at Royal Elite Vacation Club.
- Salesperson offers extra weeks to clients for rental purposes. They claim that the rental income makes the timeshare a good financial investment, and they can use the money in the first few years to pay off the membership.
- Salesperson claims that they can trade their weeks to RCI points, and use the points to pay for 100% of an airline ticket, when in reality RCI only allows for clients to use points for 33% of the cost of the ticket.

We bought a time share for a week with Royal Elite in May 2008. We realize that it was not what we had expected it to be and are finally fed up enough to want to get out of the drain of an annual maintenance of $200 US that is taken off our Mastercard acct each May. Mastercard says we need proof that it is a scam so we are looking for a quicker way to solve this problem and get rid of this contract.
Hace 8 meses a mi esposo y a mi nos estafaron con la membresía de Royal Elite que nos vendieron en Sandos Caracol, a fecha de hoy no hemos podido utilizar nada de la membresía, ni siquiera 4 tikets de todo incluido que "nos regalaron", nos vendieron el tema diciendo que podíamos intercambiar en más de 7000 hoteles de todo el mundo sin coste adicional y eso es mentira, queremos saber que podemos hacer para poder recuperar nuestro dinero y cancelar el contrato, y por supuesto evitar que sigan estafando a más gente, son lo peor de lo peor.
Buenos días,fuimos estafados por Sandos con la Membresía Royal Elite Exchange en el mes de febrero durante nuestra luna de miel, nos dimos cuenta en cuanto intentamos utilizar la membresía de que no era lo que nos vendieron, intentamos cancelar el contrato pero no nos devuelven el dinero, ¿hay algo que podamos hacer?? estamos desesperados porque es mucho el dinero que hemos perdido, la membresía eran $6000 y llevamos pagados $4000, ¿podemos hacer algo? veo que hay muchísima gente en nuestra misma situación.
