Buenas tardes adquirí hace 5 años una menbresia con hotel xcaret y deseo cancelarla aún me faltan 5 años.

yo tengo un tiempo compartido con marival, desde hace dos años el cual todo el tiempo se ha pago en tiempo y forma, ellos nos dijeron que nos nos iban, a comercializar con una empresa los puntos que adquirimos. en febrero según nos iban a hacer el pago de esos puntos que supuestamente ya habían comercializado. pero en marzo me llaman de otra empresa de comercialización de puntos porque la primera ya había desaparecido y pues el hotel me dice que fue decisión de nosotros venderle a la comercializadora los puntos no de ellos y pues el hotel no es responsable, entonces yo le dije cancela mi contrato, pero me dice que al cancelar tengo que pagar el 30% del valor de la membresía, sin tomar en cuenta todo lo que yo ya he pagado. Me pueden ayudar o que puedo hacer

We would like to get rid of our timeshare. We have paid 2 different companies over $2,000 to sell it in the past, neither of which managed to do so. Now, a company called IA is saying that they can "deed" it out of our name and no longer have the timeshare in our name or have maintenance fees. They charge $1500.00! We like your idea of giving it to charity,but would this remove the timeshare from our name and release us of the maintenance fees?

We purchased at Velas Vallarta in Mexico. We had paid in full, sadly. We stopped paying our maintenance fees a couple of years ago. We have now begun to receive letters from a collection agency in California. Should we respond at all, either to the collection agency or the resort advising we are not going to pay anything more, or just stay silent? We are prepared to just take the hit on the credit report.
