- Timeshare Rentals: These companies claim to rent your timeshare unit for an attractive price, but most times, these are just promises in the air.
The truth is that timeshares are not very popular for rentals, and you usually need permission from the resort to rent them. - Timeshare Donation: Donation foundations and organizations will hardly take a timeshare as a donation, since timeshares are difficult to sell and generate lots of expenses.
Therefore, it’s okay to be suspicious of companies that claim to donate your timeshare easily. - Timeshare Transfer: These types of companies claim to transfer your timeshare to a different person.

- Never dial a 900 to reach the company.

Los mas fraudulentos son los resorts, con sus tacticas de ventas agresivas, una vez que entras, todo se vuelve un infierno, no solo yo he sido estafado, tambien amigos y familiares mios, es un pena lo que esta pasando!

Most owners don’t understand the timeshare market. Timeshare resale is difficult, but there is always the alternative.. rental. To offset the cost timeshare owners have the option of rent out their timeshare if they don’t plan to use it. There are many rental and sales sites out there. Just do a little research before you decide on one.

It’s probably too late now, but my husband and I purchased a timeshare at the Hacienda Encantada in 2004. We’ve never been to the resort because its been under construction. The more and more I think about it the more I don’t want anything to do with it. They took my husband and I to the place of construction for breakfast and gave us both several drinks and the more we talked with the salesperson the better the idea sounded. We were both only 19 at the time and I feel we were taken advantage of. Is there anything we can do about it now?!?

Purchased a timeshare is never a good option. Although they put the idea that it is an investment, it really is a purchase that generates more costs.
At first most of people get excited with all the things that the timeshares salesman say, just because they sound so good. The reality is that they are scams.
