We also experienced the RUDE behavior of the time share people at Villa Del Palmar... wasted an entire day with their high pressure selling tactices, intimidation and when I said "just give us the gifts" told how stupid I was by their sales manager.
The best way to get even with these crooks if you want free stuff is to sit thru about 2 hours of their BS and then say " now I want my free stuff" and get up to leave...

I thought it might be useful for others to make a list of all the timeshare lies that the resorts tell you when they are selling you a timeshare. I have been utterly disgusted with the number of lies that I was told, but since none of it is in writing or in the contract, there's nothing that I can really do. I think that if we create a list of lies that are commonly told by those who are selling timeshares, it might be helpful to others to avoid buying a timeshare that they don't really need.
1. I was told that I would have no problem selling my timeshare if I ever wanted to get out of it. They made a big deal about how I would never come to that point, but if I ever did, it would be easy to sell because there are so many people out there that want them. This was a flat-out lie. I have not been able to find anybody to buy my timeshare and I'm at the point where I think I will give it away for free. Timeshares are definitely not easy to get rid of when you decide to sell.
2. The person who sold me my timeshare said that I could always give my timeshare back to the resort. This was another lie, when I contacted my resort, they said that they had no interest in taking back my timeshare and wouldn't do it. The timeshare resort will not be helpful in the least bit when it comes to you wanting to get rid of your timeshare.
this resort is a bunch of scammers, last year i had a very bad experience with those people, really i dont know how i could be so naive to felt on their trap , actually i had some complaints wih the cancellation process, i dont readed the contract correclty so i signed without looking what is gonna happen after, stay alert people
Timeshare should be stopped! There should be more laws that will protect the timeshare owners. So, if you're getting rid of your timeshare, just make sure that you're dealing with the right and credible company.
I can not tell you how big of a rip off the Villa Group is in my opinion. I own a time share here in the floating season. I only should have Christmas and new years blacked out. I have had the biggest problem getting a reservation. I have tried calling three months in advance and no my room is not available. This is going on three years now. However, they have no trouble cashing my yearly maintenance fee that has risen to nearly $600.00.

I am interested in filing a class action suit against the Villa group. We also felt we were taken advantage of and now we have a credit card debit of $7, 500. We were given false information and feel we enough documentation to make a claim, please help!
I am so discussed with timeshare company. I have a timeshare that is paid in full with high maintenance fees went to presentation when I went on a weekend gate away with my husband. Those fools told us they could take our timeshare for theirs which have a lower maintenance fees. Lies they put our timeshare for sale. Now we suppose to be sending them money for their timeshare.
