My parents had a Royal Solaris timeshare and they lied to them about everything imaginable. My parents are pretty nieve so they sort of believe anything, unfortunately. First of all after you pay them, you can never get ahold of them again. NO PHONE CALLS, NO EMAIL. It’s like they do not exist. They stole their time and their money. It was an absolute nightmare situation for them! I felt so bad for them and so mad that they were being taken advantage of that I took it upon myself to help them get out of there timeshare. I wish I would have read some of these warning before my husband and I wasted our valuable vacation time! My husband and I have been to a few presentation (time shares) and never have we not received the gifts we were promised. Until this time.....after we wasted 3 hrs. Otra cosa que deben de saber es que estas personas no cumplen lo que prometen ! todas las promesas que hacen en durante la presentacion de tiempo compartido nada es real , asi que no se dejen engañar porfavor ,no se acerquen y no acepten ir a sus presentaciones.
Nuestra hija compró un tiempo compartido y nosotros le hemos ayudado a usarlo pocas veces. Los tiempos cambiaron y ellos se vieron en la necesidad de deshacerse de él, así que lo compramos. El mayor error de nuestras vidas.
We also were scammed by Royal Solaris. We told them we not interested. We like to travel and were told you could exchange it ANYWHERE. He pulled out a book and showed all the places to exchange.
When we tried to see if these places were available NONE were.
The breakaway weeks were a big selling point, saying you could sell them. Lies alright!
I just sat through a royal solaris presentation. why would anyone fall for that? Didn't the 18% interest scare anyone off? How are smart enough to have enough money to blow on this crap, but dumb enough to actually fall for it
I purchased a 7 night vacation package for The Royal Solaris los Cabos on June 09,2015. I cancelled the vacation in writing by fax on June 14,2015, after learning I was charged double the average rate to stay at The Royal Solaris los Cabos.
Royal Solaris is refusing to refund my down payment of $375 as required by law of The Federal Consumer Protection Commission (profeco). Royal Solaris will not even return my calls or emails. I have even emailed president of sales and still no reply!!
I still have one timeshare that I want to get rid of.
My fear of walking away from the maintenance fees is that it will show up on my credit report. I want to have a good strategy before starting negotiations.
