My husband and I very stupidly got sucked into buying a time share. Now we want to get rid of it, but we're having trouble finding reputable companies to donate it to, not to say resale companies. Could you possibly send me more information?

Is there an answer to getting rid of a timeshare? Mine is paid for but I am still paying maintenance fees. I have never used it. What happens if I just stop paying the fees?

Always beware of someone offering something for nothing. It doesnt mean that you arent intelligent enough to know the difference is just means that these people are very savvy. We engaged in conversation with one of these people even though we knew who they were. It so ridiculous. But we told them right out we were not interested. After a brief visit, probably 15 min, he saw he was getting nowhere and we left. I love engaging these people just to frustrate the hell out of them but I dont make a habit of it. I even told them that in a few short years we would retire to Mexico. I saw very unfortunate people who agreed to talk with these people every morning at breakfast having to listen to the speal they gave them. Believe it or not it was the worse.
